Sunset Point in Gulf Breeze

This newly renovated house is perfectly located between Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach.   Destin is just  30 miles away and it is just 16 miles to Pensacola.  It is located on the bay and has a 150 ft. pier (dock) that extends over the water.  There are steps that go from the seawall into the water.  The calm bay water is clear and shallow.  It is very safe for children of all ages.  The water at high tide usually is not more than 4 ft. deep.  There is no wave action and no undertow or riptide.  Most days you can clearly see the bottom.  The water is brackish....mixture of fresh gulf water and fresh river water.  There are a variety of fish usually swimming around.

You will see the most amazing sunsets from the back yard over looking the bay.  There is so mcuh to do right here that your never need to leave the premises.

There are 4 bedrooms here.  Two rooms have queen size beds, one room has bunk beds, and one has two full size beds.  There is a sunroom on the front of the cottage that has a day bed with trundle.  There is a sectional sofa that can sleep one or two (depending on the person's size) and a chair that pulls out into a single bed.  All of the bedroom furniture is new including new mattresses (5/201

There is a pool table and foosball table in the cottage for rainy day fun.  There are some water toys for the children.  We provide a canoe if you want to move off shore a bit.  Crab baskets are on site for you to use to catch crabs.  There is a swing for you to sit in to watch the beautiful sunsets.  A picnic table and a bar-b-que grill is provided for cooking outside. There are chairs and lounge chairs for sunning. We recently installed a privacy outdoor shower with hot and cold running water so this makes the house a two full bath place.   

The cottage contains all the comfort of home.  It is centerally heated and cooled.  There is a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.  Washer and dryer are available for your use.

If you have never visited the local beaches you must do that.  You can stay at Sunset Point for a fraction of the price of staying on the beach.  There are some fabulous restaurants close by.  If you are looking for seafood you will want to check out the Shrimp Basket in Navarre or the Grand Marlin  on Pensacola Beach.  Dave's Oyster Bar is located right on Hwy 98 just about 3 miles from the cottage.   You'll find the best hot wings at Sidelines on Pensacola Beach.  You can get them hot, hot, hot!

We have several museums to visit.  The Naval Aviatiion Museum, The Hispanic Museum, T.T Wentworth Museum and the Transportation Museum...just to mention a few.

There are two golf courses close by.  Tiger Point Country Club and Hidden Creek Country Club is located about six miles in either direction (east or west).

There is a cleaning fee of $150 ($50 extra for pets)

Refundable damage deposit is $250

 Damage deposit of $50 more for each pet is required.    (Both deposits are refundable if no damage is done to the cottage)
