Tall Pines in Pembine

Enjoy our cozy Northwoods cottage nestled among tall old pine and
birch trees, overlooking a peaceful lake. Beecher Lake is a 36
acre, no wake lake with beautiful sunsets. The 2000 sq. ft.
winterized cottage has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with
queen bed and bunkbeds), 1 bath with tub and shower, a granite
fireplace and screened porch. There is a private boatlanding and
dock, as well as an outdoor firepit.

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave. Cable TV, vcr and dvd player.
Firewood for fireplace and firepit included. All bed linens are
provided. Towels are not.

Marinette County has something for everyone, all year round. Enjoy
biking, hiking, swimming, and golfing. ATV enthusiasts will find
over 190 miles of well-maintained trails. Hunters will discover an
abundance of quarry including deer, grouse, rabbit, bear and more.
Town roads, Forestry roads and logging trails allow access to most
parts of the forest. This area also boasts four very fine trout
streams: the South Branch of the Peme Bon Won, locally known as the
Pemenee, the K.C. Creek and the North and South Branch of the Pike
River. Brook Trout is the dominant "catch of the day" in all the
streams. Whether it is white-water rafting, water skiing, tubing,
kayaking, or canoeing, the lakes and rivers of the area are sure to
provide a thrilling experience. Marinette County is known as the
Waterfalls Capital of Wisconsin, so don't overlook the breathtaking
Waterfalls Tour, with 14 stops, or one of four Mini Tours for day
trips. Cold weather fans can enjoy over 600 miles of wide, scenic,
well-groomed and clearly marked snowmobile trails. Snowshoeing and
cross-country skiing trails are also easily accessible and
enjoyable. Downhill skiing and snowboarding can be found on Norway
Mountain in nearby Norway, MI. For the Indoor enthusiast, there are
several wonderful museums in the area, and shoppers will love the
many unique gift, craft and antique shops.
