Venice Island is a relatively small area on the Gulf Coast with an abundance of recreational opportunities virtually on your doorstep.  Walk or bike to the beach or to the restaurants, shops and galleries downtown on Venice Ave.  Walk, jog or bike along the Venetian waterway park and you will likely see gopher tortoises and a pair of bald eagles, along with other interesting wildlife.  Fish off the Venice Pier or the South Jetty, or enjoy a sunset at the Tiki Bar at Sharkey's on the Pier. Play golf at the Venice Island golf course, a 27 hole public course a little more than a mile from your condo.
