Vacation Rental Description

A ranch home in the gated village of El Cortez. Professionally 
furnished and decorated with wonderful, tropical colors throughout.  
Just a 5 minute golf cart ride to downtown Spanish Springs. This 
home has two bedrooms, two baths and a large, bright, sunny family 
room/den.  Enjoy the covered patio while reading or dining with a 
view of the 9th tee on the Chula Vista golf course.  We have 
included a Weber grill for some great Al Fresco meals.

High speed DSL and a router make staying “connected” to family and 
friends easy.  Go wireless on the patio or anywhere in the house.  
There are cordless phones throughout the house with 
answering/messaging capabilities.  

Satellite service is included along with three TV’s. The living room 
has a 36” TV with DVR/TiVo and DVD where you can watch/record your 
TV programs or catch up on your movies. Another 27” color TV with 
DVD/VHS in the Master bedroom and a third color TV in the family 
room will ensure that everyone can watch their favorites.  

A 2 passenger, Club Golf Cart is ready for day or night driving 
(even in “liquid sunshine”….you have full curtains!).  Head out the 
back door, onto the golf cart path, and in less than 2 minutes you 
could be swimming or teeing off at the Chula Vista Club. 

The Master bedroom has a pillow top king size bed, large walk-in 
closet and a 2nd eight foot closet in the dressing area.  The en-
suite has a large vanity area with sink and plenty of counter and 
drawer space.  A separate private room offers a walk-in shower with 
seat, sink and toilet.

The guest room is furnished with a pillow top queen bed.  Luxury 
linens, all new pillows and towels, even pool towels are provided. 
Both bedrooms have lots of storage, nightstands, alarm clocks, 
ceiling fans and good lighting.

The family room/den has a sofa bed writing/computer desk and a 
wonderful place to sit and play chess. (Pictured below left)

The kitchen is bright and well lit.  It is fully equipped with 
quality appliances, cookware and dishes/glasses.  You will find 
everything that you need to make/serve gourmet meals for 6 or just 
heat up leftovers for 2.  With two pantries you’ll have space to 
store everything.

Greet your guests with drinks at the granite topped, movable bar and 
then seat 6 comfortably in the dining room.  There is an assortment 
of tablecloths and placemats for casual lunches or larger dinner 
parties.

The separate laundry room has a full-sized washer and dryer, fully 
equipped tool box (for fixing little problems), storage closets and 
a great counter for folding laundry. A new vacuum cleaner, iron and 
ironing board are provided as well.

All major appliances; as well as plumbing, air-conditioner and 
electrical; are under contract for immediate service (included in 
rental).  The yard has an in-ground sprinkler system and is 
maintained weekly.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

A CLUB, 2 person golf cart is FREE...save $300+ per month.  It is 
equipped with side curtains, lights and is great fun to drive.

(36",27",27"), DVR/TiVo, DVD, DVD/VHS, Stereo with CD/Cassette 
Player/Radio, 3 Phones with answering/messaging machine.

Kitchen
Large kitchen with full size appliances; electric stove, built in 
microwave, refrigerator/freezer (automatic icemaker), garbage 
disposal, dishwasher.  Dishes, glasses, flatware for 8.  Pyrex 
baking dishes, pots/pans, cookie trays, brownie pans, broiler pans, 
Electric Appliances;  blender, chopper, programmable coffee maker, 
can opener, toaster oven, toaster, mixer, etc..  Plenty of chopping 
boards, good knives, potholders, dish towels... just like home!

Bedding
All mattresses are pillow top with comfy mattress pads.  There are 
new pillows(all sizes), luxury linens for deep-pocket mattresses (2 
sets per bed), Towels;  bath towels and extra-large bath sheet 
towels, hand and finger towels and plenty of wash cloths and Pool 
towels. All beds have down comforters and blankets. Separate indoor 
laundry room with full size washer and dryer, folding counter, 
storage cabinets and tool box.  A new vacuum cleaner(w/plenty of 
bags), iron and ironing board and mops, brooms,buckets, etc..

Just off the back patio are a mature lemon and pink grapefruit 
tree.  We have provided a fruit picker to ensure that you can reach 
all the lovely fruit during your stay.... Help yourself!

A large Weber grill; Ceiling fans in all rooms.  All utilities, 
Satellite, Local Phone, Lawn Care and Garbage Collection are 
included.

18 Executive Courses, 18 recreational centers and 26 heated pools 
are all included with your Village Amenities card, a $50, one-time 
fee. Katie Belles, a private club for  residents or renters, in 
downtown Spanish Springs, has wonderful food, dancing and live 
entertainment 365 days a year.  7 Championship Courses (including 
Palmer Legends and Nancy Lopez Legacy) are available for a small 
fee.  You can dine at any of the 5 country clubs or more than 50 
restaurants in The Villages.  Every night in Spanish Springs Town 
Square (5 minutes by golf cart) while you sit by the fountains,there 
is live music, dancing and 2 for 1 Happy Hour. 

Your house is less than 1 block from the Chula Vista Club with adult 
swimming and 3 blocks from the Rio Grande Recreation Center, with a 
large pool...it's open to families and the grandchildren will Love 
It!  Pickleball courts, shuffleboard, bocce, tennis courts, 
horseshoes are all within 3 blocks.  The recreation center has 
billiard tables (must be over 16)which are great for "liquid 
sunshine" days.  There are more than 300 clubs for ANY interests 
that you might have. Contact a club from your Home State and meet 
new friends!

The Savannah Center has great concerts and theater productions 
during season.  The Polo Stadium has very exciting matches during 
season or watch/play softball at the complex right next door to the 
polo fields.  There are 2 bowling centers, each with 32-lanes. In 
Spanish Springs, the Rialto Theater offers 8 stadium seating 
movies.  Leave the movies and stroll across the square for some 
wonderful homemade ice cream.

Two large Shopping centers are less than 4 blocks from the house.  
Publix and Bi-Lo, drug stores, liquor/wine stores and more than 70 
shops are located close enough to the house that your ice cream 
won't melt on the way home in your golf cart. 

The Villages is a truly wonderful place to spend a vacation.  The 
people are very open and friendly to new residents/visitors;  there 
is always a first time for everyone and once you've vacationed here 
you will want to RETURN!

In just over an hours’ drive from your home you can visit:

Disney World, Universal Studios and MGM
Kennedy Space Center & Sea World
Busch Gardens in Tampa
Orlando Outlet malls
Beaches on both coasts

Cruises leave from several close-by ports

Horse farms abound in nearby Ocala.  Pack a picnic or find several, 
out of the way restaurants with local foods.  Makes for great day 
trips.  

One of the largest flea markets in central Florida is only a 20 
minute drive.

There is a shuttle to/from Orlando airport from The Villages for a 
very reasonable rate.

We have a "Home, Away From Home" book that will give you information 
not only about the house, but about The Villages, restaurants, 
golfing, swimming and activities. We hope that it will save you time 
and get your vacation off to a fast start.
