Peaceful Haven in Great Barrington

This home is situated on 2.5 acres offering a private and tranquil setting for relaxation and  an ideal location making it easy to get to the most popular venues in the Berkshires. It is a 5 minute walk to Lake Mansfield and a three minute drive to Main Street, GB.for all the local color...shops,coffee houses,restaurants,movies,music . It is also close to Rt 41 so you can go the back way and avoid the traffic getting to Tanglewood, theatre and concerts etc.. It is a five minute drive to Butternut Ski Resort that hosts art and music festivals.

The home is a mid century ranch which is very comfortable and has many of the ammenities that you are used to.It is built into a hill so that the house stays cool in the summer and warm in winter.The second bath is on the lower level and there is also a large family room which can be used as a fourth bedroom for an additional charge.

The land is picturesque and private. It backs off to the woods. You can enjoy watching the birds,rabbits,turkeys, deer.There is a side deck that is just off the dining room.

Each of the bedrooma has air conditioning and fans if needed. There is wireless ionternet service and cable tv. Washer/dryer is on main floor as well as clothesline out back.

The kitchen has most of what you will need. Linens are provided.

The Berkshires is where culture meets the magnificence of nature. You are so close to Lake Mansfield ,Monument Mt ,Bash Bish Falls ,Bartholemes Cobble and many state park for walking, hiking and canoing. You can easily get to Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Co. Jacob's Pillow as well as art and musiv festivals. 

For the extra family room which could be a fourth bedroom there will be an additional charge of $200/weekly.

Pets are up to the owners discretion. They should be less than 20 lbs. but will be considered on a case by case basis.

Peak rates are in effect June- Sept. There is a one week minimum.

Ski season rates do not include heat surcharge and are in effect Nov-March.
