2 Kingfisher has so much to offer... Ideally located in the prime location of North Forest Beach, this perfect vacation home is a short 50 yards to the beach and a simple walk/bike ride to the always popular Coligny Plaza. This gem has a large, open floor plan while maintaining much needed personal space, making it the ideal retreat for multi-family gatherings.

Upon entering the property from the driveway, you are greeted with a spacious pool area enclosed for your privacy and security for children. You will quickly notice the custom tile work in the pool and immediately be drawn to the attached hot tub where a waterfall cascades into the larger pool area. The surrounding sundeck is equipped with numerous lounge chairs and just beyond the water is a covered tiki area that includes a large gas grill, dry bar, and ample seating from the bar stools and dining table. To top things off, stereo speakers are installed to add some additional poolside atmosphere.

As you enter the home, the open floor plan greets you in the foyer with much-valued space to place shoes and drop bags. A functional desk with seating bench and baskets are available. The natural light from several large windows sets the stage to view the numerous upgrades and updates incorporated in the last few years. These include completely new furnishings for both living areas, fresh paint throughout annually, new electronics including a large flat screen HDTV and whole house audio system, upgraded lighting fixtures, and many more exciting new touches. The latest upgrade for the 2014 season is the replacement of all carpeted areas with new flooring, raising the aesthetic feel to a whole new level. The 1st floor boasts an inviting 2 story great room with large windows and a sliding glass door that opens to the first of two covered verandas that overlook the pool area. Two oversized couches anchor the room with two additional armchairs for adding seating. The living space features a fireplace, built-in book shelves and a wall-mounted HDTV with stereo/surround sound and DVD player. Flowing off the great room is a dining area that seats 12 comfortably, includes a high chair for the little one, and has a breakfast bar that seats an additional 4. The attached kitchen features stainless appliances and numerous accessories to keep any home chef happy.

The 2nd floor features a TV/Media/Reading loft area with a sectional sofa that converts to a queen size bed and an added loveseat for extra seating. The area is equipped with a 27' TV with DVD/VCR, a gaming table, and is connected through a sliding glass door to the second covered veranda.

The bedroom configuration consists of 2 sleeping rooms on the first floor and the remaining 4 on the second floor. Each is equipped with a ceiling fan, TVs with DVD players, and new, high thread count linens. A master suite is available on each floor and consists of a walk-in closet, sitting area, soaking tub, separate shower, and double sink/vanity area. The third King bed is on the 2nd floor and contains an attached full bath. The remaining two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 1 Queen and 2 Doubles, share a jack-and-jill bath (1 tub/shower, separate vanity areas). The final bedroom on the 1st floor contains 2 Twin beds and has an attached full bath. As an additional bonus, a crib and a pack-n-play are available at no charge.

So good; we come back every year!

We have been coming to HHI for over 10 years and this house is our favorite by far! In fact, we love it so much that we’ve rented here for the past 3 years and plan to continue to do so for our annual extended family vacation. What can I say? This house has it all. Here is what differentiates this place from others for our extended family of 15 (including 8 adults + 7 kids ranging from toddler to teenagers.):
1. House Amenities: You feel like you are at your own “private resort”. There is a covered tiki bar, good size pool and spa, with whole house audio system that allows you to play poolside music. Internal home decorating is modern. Owners make upgrades every year including new hardwood flooring, furniture, decorations, etc.

2. Location:
• Convenient Beach Access – This home is literally a stone’s throw from the ocean. Beach access is essentially “Private” and never overcrowded b/c access is limited to those that live on Kingfisher primarily and there is no parking available for general public.
• Proximity to Coligny Shopping & Walking/Biking Trails: For those that have never been to North Forest Beach part of the island, it is a gem. You get the privacy of having a big home with great beach access but are only a short walk, jog, or bike ride away from Coligny Plaza. Every morning we go for a family bike ride or jog along the trail to Coligny for morning coffee & let the kids run through the sprinklers at Coligny Park before starting the day.

3. Owners: Extremely easy to work with. Definitely customer service oriented as pre, during and post trip they follow-up to ensure you have positive vacation experience & responsive to any questions you have.

Beautiful Home!

Very well appointed and well maintained. Plenty of room for our party of 8. Close to beach on quiet street. Short bike ride to Coligny Plaza and restaurants. Bike path across the street for easy access.
