villa OceanSide - Two-Home Compound on Moody Beach in Wells

(#130988), villa OceanSide on sandy Moody Beach is a compound consisting of Two Large
Separate Homes (rented as one entity during the summer months). villa OceanSide, with
its private beach and breathtaking views of the ocean from most every room, offers our
guests the ability to create a perfect vacation retreat.

With its exterior of earth tone stucco and terra cotta roof, heated tile and hardwood floors, Three Master Bedrooms--two with built-in coffee makers and one with built-in fridge with icemaker, European baths, spacious open floor plans for living rooms, kitchens and dining areas (seating for 8-10 at both homes), state-of-the-art gourmet kitchens large enough for 2-3 cooks, breakfast bars, ocean views from the quite private, glass-enclosed bubble tub for two, steam bath for two in one home, steam bath for one in other home, heated towel racks, and every room (with exception of the baths) outfitted with wall-mounted HDTV/DVDs and individual controls in each room and on the decks for listening to XM Satellite and music from the CD player or iPod, this Mediterranean style compound is a unique haven for relaxation.  The unparalleled panorama, upscale furnishings and amenities in both homes leave nothing to be desired.

The third floor Master Bedroom has a Gas fireplace as well as a Sitting Room, complete with built-in refrigerator, icemaker and coffee pot.  As with the upper Master bedroom, the second floor Master has French doors.  With the moon's reflection on the ocean, our guests feel they are on an ocean liner as they gaze from their pillows at the ocean and listen to the crashing waves below.

All beds, as with our other properties, have top-of-the-line mattresses and box springs.  Each bedroom has a wall-mounted HDTV/DVD, clock radio, Maine Cottage furniture, color-coordinated linens and bedspreads, large closet space (some with walk-in closets).

Plush, color-coordinated bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, wall-mounted hair dryers, soaps, tp are provided in every bath.

The dining area off the kitchen at Semper Fi house has a gas fireplace, as does the living room at Pendleton House (and the third floor Master Bedroom).

Each house at villa OceanSide is Air-Conditioned with large living rooms (one of which--Pendleton House--also has a separate sitting room).  Pendleton House and Semper Fi House are both distinctively and professionally decorated.

Both kitchens have filtered water and are fully equipped with everything for cooking, baking, dining and entertaining.  Each enormous built-in refrigerator has integrated filtered water and ice dispensers on the doors.  Paper products, dish and dishwasher detergent, compactor bags are in stock.  Whether it be for relaxing or perhaps dining, there are tables and chairs for six on the decks at each house, each with electric awnings if our guests would like some shade and the ability to be outdoors just in case of rain.

Between the two houses is a four foot, built-in gas grille with accessories for use by gourmet cooks--or simply barbequing.  Each house has its own area for laundry with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board and clothes detergent.

Perfect your golf game with the large putting green on the front lawn (left-handed and right-handed clubs supplied).  Afterwards you may wish to sit under the umbrellas on the lawn and view the ocean prior to a swim.  Beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach chairs are always on hand.

Renting Only One of the Two Homes at the Compound - Before or After Summer Months
With the exception of the summer months when families book the entire Compound, at any other time of the year, if our Guests wish to stay at only one home (Pendleton House sleeps eight and Semper Fi House sleeps up to six), just let us know which residence you prefer.  Rates for a three-night stay or longer at one home at the Compound are listed below.  To preserve the privacy of our guests, if one house is rented, we leave the other house vacant.
