Knarly Oaks Pool House with Spa on 5 Acres Hilltop in Yosemite

Imagine you, and your family or friends, hiking through the gorgeous wilderness of Yosemite National Park.  It's wonderous, beautiful, but HOT.  It's late August, September or even October and the temperatures are in the 90's or even in the 100's.  When you're done with the wonderous sites, you NEED to cool off.  That's were we come in.  We have a refreshing and beautiful 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom, 1500 square foot air conditioned POOL house. It's has a very private pool and spa, with spectacular views, all located within the community of Mariposa, California, about 50 minutes from Yosemite National Park.  

The house is on a 5 acre hilltop with awesome 360 degree views of the Mariposa Hills and Sierra Nevada Mountain Ranges, tall pines, knarly oaks, and the lights of the city of Madera and the township of Bootjack.  During the day, you might spot deer, squirrels and over 4 dozen species of birds that visit each year.  Cool off in the pool after that tough day of hiking in Yosemite.  By night relax in the hot tub as you marvel at the stars.  We've got everything you need to unwind and relax.

Completely new kitchen, laundry room with energy efficent appliances, forced air heating and AIR CONDITIONING, and dual pane windows.  We have completes sets of dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware.  There is a coffee maker and grinder, toaster, rice cooker, and a blender.

The master bedroom is furnished with a King Size bed and high thread-count sheets for your every comfort.  Please note the unique locally made manzanita furnishings.  There's a High Def TV, HD Dish Receiver with HBO, Blue-Ray DVD player and a WII (Master Bedroom larger than second bedroom).

Second Bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and also has a High Def TV, HD Dish Receiver with HBO and  Blue-Ray DVD player.

The Living Room has a 40" High Def, Satellite with HBO, and Blue Ray player with a large selection of DVDs, books, games and a foosball table.  The sofa bed is a queen size.  Two twin size air mattresses, including electric pump, are stored in the large master bedroom closet and there is enough space in the living room if the foosball table is moved to one side.  Well stocked firewood is kept for the living room fireplace.

The Dining Room table seats 6 comfortably, and has a great view to the south.  Outside there is a swing on the deck to relax and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and numerous pation furniture to lounge in.

Peak Season: May through August, including all major Holidays, 3 night minimum stay.

Weekends and all major Holidays;  $250 per night.

Weeknights; $225 per night.

Mid Season:  September, October, April, 2 night minimum stay, excluding all major Holidays.

Weekends;  $225 per night.

Weeknights; $200 per night.

Off Season:  November through March, 2 night minimum stay, excluding all major Holidays.

Weekends;  $200 per night.

Weeknights; $175 per night.

Plus 11% County Tax to above nightly fees

Non taxable cleaning fee, any season:

$100 per stay.

$400 fully refundable security deposit.  We will wash all linens and towels, empty trash, empty clean dishwasher, bedroom and bathroom cleaning. Guests are expected to leave all other areas as clean as they found it within reason (no nickel and dime-ing our guests like some of the other places).  Please leave used beds unmade and used towels on hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms to help out cleaning crew expedite the cleaning process (we have extra sets of everything so they can grab used laundry and wash off site, and still have extras for your stay).
