Modern log cabin situated on wooded lot on quiet road two minutes from Whiteface Mountain and two miles from the village of Wilmington. The lot features a hilltop view of babbling brook and pond, pine and birch woods, and easy access from road. The front porch has comfortable Adirondack chairs and timber benches. The rear deck features built-in benches, and a gas BBQ grill, as well as a view of Whiteface Mountain.

The interior of the cabin has a great room, with a cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace stove. The dining area has patio doors opening onto rear deck overlooking the pond and brook. Fully equipped open-concept kitchen with gas stove, built-in microwave, and double sink.

The main floor features a master bedroom with queen-size bed, bathroom with full bathroom, hardwood and ceramic floors.

The spacious loft has a queen-size bed, window and wall-to-wall carpeting.

The basement level features a large bunkroom/playroom with four bunks and futon, gas fireplace stove, and wall-to wall carpeting. Attached is a full bathroom, including washer and dryer. There is direct access to the outside from the basement.

Each floor, including the loft, features premium cable television, DVD players, and a CD player in the kitchen. Wireless internet access available. Games and Playstation 2 available.  The house is well equipped with linens and towels.

Pets welcome.  100% smoke free.  Scenic views, stream in back of property.  Gas fireplace, canoe and kyack available. Back deck, barebeque grill, linens provided.  Cable tv, dvd player, internet access, wifi, movie collection, full kitchen and kitchen accessories.  Lake access.

The cabin is situated only 10 miles from Lake Placid, a few minutes from Lake Everest municipal beach, and close to the Ausable River, famous for its fly fishing. It is possible to hire fishing guides. Also, nearby is the Whiteface Memorial Highway and Santa's Workshop. The cabin is close to fine dining, shopping, Olympic venues, and unlimited outdoor activities, including four world-class golf courses. There are unlimited hiking opportunities very close at hand, including the challenging 46 High Peaks, as well as many other recreational possibilities, such as canoeing, whitewater rafting, mountain and road biking. Many special events happen seasonally, including the Ironman, Lake Placid Horse Show, Adirondack Living Show, and various festivals at Whiteface Mountain.
