The Grandview Avenue, Log Cabin is a great old place that will take you back in time. It is in Green Mountain Falls an old Vacation town outside of Colorado Springs. This is a Quiet little town with shops, restaurant, cafes, lake, and Water Falls. Close to Woodland Park, Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak. Lots to do all around the area.
This cabin and many others in the area area cabins that have been in the family for many many years - mostly used as 2nd homes - a summer get-a-way. These folks are ready to share a piece of history with you all.
Great location, close to Colorado Springs - but snuggled in the mountains for that true mountain town feel.
The town is known for it's beautiful FALLS - you make take a short hike to the first set of falls, or do a longer hike to the other set of falls. The town also includes a fishing pond in the middle of town, with a Gazebo, A public outdoor swimming pool and many fine fine restaurants and shops.

Mountain Town: This log home is located in the quaint little town of Green Mountain Falls. Located just 10 miles West of Colorado Springs. The town has some awesome restaurants, cafes, some great hiking trials and its biggest boast is the FALLS of Green Mountain Falls. You can take a short hike to the first set of FALLs or a longer hike to see both sets of falls.. Located in the center of town, walking distance from the cabin, are all the restaurants but also a pond and gazebo - with some good fishing. Creek runs through town.
And what a lot of people like about this location is how close it is to do all the tourist attractions located in and around Colorado Springs. Airforce Academy, Garden of the Gods, Pkes Peak Hwy or Cog train ride, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls. Or head west to Pikes National Forest and take in some good outdoor adventures.
Cripple Creek/Victor - Gold MIne - Gaming Town: Green Mountain FAlls is approx 30 minutes to Cripple Creek. Where you can spend a day or two taking in the incredible scenery/mountain views, visiting the mine (we have the largest active Gold MIne), taking a train ride or just catch some of the wonderful restaurants and do a little gambling in town.
The Cabin: This cabin date back into the late 1800's/early 1900's. It is a five bedroom cabin. In addition the living room, the has a number of antique rocking/chairs, it also has a lower level - self sufficient area - including a sitting area, small kitchen with fridge/hotpot/sink, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Giving everyone some space. The main level has a large sunroom. YOu can enter into the livng room through the french doors, or head to the wood deck.
On both sides of the home are some nice flag stone patio areas.
