This nostalgic two-story beach home offers the perfect accommodations for a large multi-family vacation with 9 bedrooms and 8 baths, sleeping up to 23 people. The property includes the main house, a separate apartment and a private pool. Nearby is Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake that offers fishing, boating and swimming in calmer waters near the outflow into the gulf.

On the ground floor, you will find cool tile floors, two bedrooms, kitchen, dining and family rooms. The family room which overlooks the pool is outfitted with a large L-shaped leather sofa (with sleeper section), side chair, coffee table, side table with lamp, armoire with 32" LCD TV, DVD/VCR and stereo. The huge dining table can easily seat 12 to 14 guests. High speed wireless internet. Open kitchen features formica countertops, frig with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, glass top range and a long breakfast bar with 6 barstools. One bath is located off the family room with large separate shower. The stackable large capacity washer/dryer is in a hallway near the kitchen. Queen bedroom #1 has TV, chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables with lamps and door to the pool area. Queen bedroom #2 has TV, armoire and 2 bedside tables with lamps. Another hall bath with tub/shower and vanity sink is across from this bedroom.

The second floor of the house has six bedrooms each with wood floors and ceiling fans. The master King bedroom #1 has 2 bedside tables with 2 lamps, side chair, armoire, 25" TV, DVD/VCR, door to the front porch which overlooks the town of Grayton, and a private bath with tiled shower. Queen bedroom #3 has chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables with lamps, TV/VCR and a private bath with tub/shower. King bedroom #2 has 2 bedside tables with lamps, armoire with TV plus DVD/VCR, chest of drawers and a private bath with tiled shower. Queen bedroom #4 has 2 bedside tables with lamps, armoire with TV, door to parade deck and a private bath with tub/shower. Queen bedroom #5 has two queen beds, bedside lamp, chest of drawers, TV, DVD, door to the front porch overlooking town, and a shared bath with tiled shower. Bunk room is accessed through the queen bedroom #5 – a good arrangement for parents with small children. It has two twins in the bunk, TV and a small chest of drawers and is adjacent to the bath in queen bedroom #5.

Separate in-law apartment is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. It is set up with a living room with sofa, coffee table and TV within an armoire; kitchen equipped with bar counter with two bar stools, washer/dryer, frig, microwave, electric range, dishwasher and double sink; separate queen bedroom with 2 bedside tables with 1 lamp and second TV on a chest of drawers; and a bathroom with shower. There is also a twin rollaway bed in the house – it tends to move about the house depending on where needed.

The kidney-shaped private pool is situated behind the house and is surrounded by attractive brick pavers. Other amenities pool-side include a table with chairs for outdoor dining, ample loungers and both gas and charcoal BBQ grills. Ample parking in gravel driveway. Two outside showers.
