What a lovely home away from home at Gulfview Paradise at Maravilla!  This lovely 2-bedroom condo is truly that - homey!  From the comfortable queen beds in each of the two bedrooms to the brand new, reclining on both ends marshmallow soft sofa in the living room, you will think it is your home, and wish it was!  This exceptional condo welcomes up to five guests when utilizing the twin rollaway included for extra sleeping space, and should you wish to bring a sleeping bag or air mattress for additional sleeping, we welcome up to seven guests in this condo.

With this many guests, one bath is not always enough and this condo has an extra half bath.  The "joint" bath makes it accessible either from the hallway or the master bedroom.

Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious balcony with view to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the exceptional tropical grounds featured at this resort complex.

My Galveston Getaway offers no surprise pricing!  When we quote you a price it includes bed linens and bath towels (and we truly are homes away from home, these are quality linens), City of Galveston and State of Texas required occupancy taxes, the post-move cleaning charge and one parking permit for the duration of your stay.  Should your group be traveling in more than one vehicle, the friendly office staff at the resort will be pleased to sell you additional permits which cost $10.00 each and are valid for the duration of your stay.

Whether lounging on the balcony with a good book, enjoying any of the pools, hot tub or workout room of the complex, or taking in the sights and sounds of Galveston, Gulfview Paradise welcomes you!  The Maravilla Resort features a hot tub, soothing waterfall feature, 3 pools and so much more.  You can find a spot under a shaded tree to enjoy a picnic (or nap), take in Galveston's historic strand district, enjoy one of the many festivals or events featured in the City, take a stroll on the beach, have a seashell hunt, or do absolutely nothing if that is what you prefer.  From the sand castle building tournaments, to IronMan competitions, to Dickens on the Strand, Mardi Gras, Lone Star Rally, Feather Fest ---- there is always something to do in Galveston!

Galveston is growing!  The Historic Pleasure Pier is being brought back with a carnival atmosphere,
rides, games, etc.  Look for this to be completed in late May.  Also, directly to the west of the Maravilla on Seawall Boulevard, the Marriott Corporation is constructing new hotel options for future visitors.  Construction hours are somewhere in the vicinity of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and there is heavy equipment and at times more noise than others.  Please don’t let this stop
you from coming as we have reduced our rates to accommodate for the inconvenience, even though the heaviest noise time is during the day when most of our guests are out sightseeing, at the beach, etc.  The front building and some west side units at the Maravilla are undergoing a facelift with new siding and railings being installed.  The units that we manage in these areas
during this time.  There may be noise to some of the other units while this progress is being made.  Some of the Maravilla units, likewise, are undergoing facelifts to their interiors and you may from time to time hear noise associated with that, but work hours end by early evening.  Experience Galveston now, while our rates are lower!

Spring/Fall:  $195 weeknights, $250 Fri/Sat Nights, $1250 Weekly - monthly rates negotiable depending on length of stay.

Summer:    $240 weeknights, $290 Fri/Sat Nights, $1,525 Weekly - monthly rates negotiable depending on length of stay

Winter:  $175 weeknights, $225 Fri/Sat Nights, $1125 Weekly - monthly rates negotiable depending on length of stay

Always a 2-night minimum, 3-nights during holidays and Galveston special events.  Galveston special events including Lone Star Rally, Mardi Gras and Spring Break are at Peak Summer Rates.
