vacation rental description
This house is TOO GOOD to be TRUE. Stay in the HEART of the ACTION for SXSW. This is a FABULOUS and fun 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath house one block east of IH35 and a FIVE MINUTE WALK to downtown proper. We are .05 miles from Stubbs/Red River, 1 mile to the convention center. All in all, six will sleep very comfortably. There are several great restaurants within a two block area including the famous Franklin BBQ which is literally one minute walk from my house.Blue Dahlia (Paris Bistro), Hillside Farmacy which is a newer hip place to dine. The Longbranch is a long time neighborhood bar with lots of SXSW venues on tap. Smoking is allowed outside on the front porch and in the backyard. I'm a long time Austinite and will be happy to advise.

The home is just 6 years old and has all the modern conveniences. The house has a fantastic front porch with a great view to all the sights and sounds of SXSW one block away. The home is approx. 1200 sq. ft with 2 bedrooms upstairs and room for more downstairs if needed. This house is designed with a bar so friends can drop by for a drink. Free WIFI, HBO, and Showtime. and Netflix. The home has central air and heat and a washer/dryer. A full kitchen is at your disposal with a dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. There are two bedrooms upstairs that can sleep 2 people each plus there is a comfortable queen size air mattress that can also sleep two plus a very comfortable couch. Besides the great front porch, there is a cozy fenced in back yard for your dog, comfortable chat chairs and a grill if you want to barbeque. There is parking for one car and possibly more in back. Mature pets are accepted with an additonal deposit.

We are 1 block away from the trendy 11th Street area with Victory Grill, Longbranch, and the famous Franklin BBQ around the corner. There will be lots of live shows a few blocks from here. Sit and sip Margaritas on the porch as you watch all the action from your front porch.
vacation rental rates
As of November 20, 2012 a cleaning fee of $150 + a deposit of $700 will be required. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of the last day of your stay.
