I rented this home with my fiance and 3 other couples, as we were up in NY for a wedding. I was absolutely thrilled with how spacious this home was for 8 adults. It was very clean, and completely stocked with linens and towel. Dealing with the owners, Deborah specifically, was so easy. She was very accessible, answered all my questions and left a wonderful guide for us to use while staying in Geneva. The views from this house, mainly the master bedroom and living room, are the most beautiful I've ever witnessed. I woke up for the sunrise one morning and was blown away. The private dock was wonderful and we used the deck to grill and dine one evening. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and if we ever return to Seneca Lake, I'd rent here again.

Our most memorable vacation EVER! Exactly as described, quiet, clean & spacious.

This was our first lake house rental and our first VRBO rental which made us a little nervous. We're a family of five, all adults. The moment we walked in, we were thrilled! The house was clean and spacious with plenty of room for all of us. The cleaning lady left us fresh picked vegetables and went on-and-on apologizing that the sheets had some wrinkles in them. Seriously?, New Yorker's iron their sheets? Well, us Texan's are not so picky and we found the beds and sheets very comfortable.

The deck was great and, although there was a nice stove, we grilled almost everything. Morning views were beautiful and deck was nice and shady all day long. Families with small children will find a nice swing set. Not really a sandy swimming beach but great for evening fires. Very nice dock with large sitting area. We tried, unsuccessfully, to catch fish from the dock - well they call it fishing, not catching for a reason.

I also cannot under-emphasize the thoughtfully prepared guide with menus, attractions, reviews, and household instructions. The pictures posted are accurate but it looks much better when you are there. If we ever get back this way, this place is the only place we'd consider. It's the owners first summer to rent and they have gone all out to make sure the stay is nice. Responsive to maintenance needs too although the only thing needed was replacing the dryer. It got pretty warm a couple of days we were there and the house is comfortably air conditioned with window/wall units.

It's not a hotel so don't forget bar soap, shampoo, and other things like that but there's a Wal-Mart and Wegmans Grocery nearby. Very close to a very friendly marina which rents boats which you can dock at the house. Winery is literally right across the street. We were first a little concerned about a railroad track which runs pretty close by but the train was quiet, short, and only came by at around 7 & 10 each night. The property was formerly the full time residence of the owners and their pride of ownership is quite evident.

Finally, our deposit was promptly returned in full.
