Have a seat in one of the comfy chairs next to the resident sea bird, the sand dollars, buoys, and marine paraphernalia. Spy a ship out on the water through the telescope, or just absorb the sight of the majestic Pacific through the big picture windows. The living area is cozy and spacious, with hardwood floors and a plush, wrap-around couch, perfect for stretching out and relaxing after a day exploring the beach. Thaw out in front of a crackling, wood fire as you listen to a CD and catch up on your reading. Or, get online, if you need to, to check events or email with the free WiFi. After dinner, head over to the den where you can watch cable or a DVD (large selection available)on the flat-screen TV.

Unless you feel like driving, stock up for meals. It's about five minutes south to Waldport and seven minutes up north to Newport. There are lots of eateries in those places. Seal Rock has a 50s-themed diner called, appropriately, Diner at Seal Rock. But why drive when you have a modern, fully stocked kitchen at your disposal? You'll have everything you'll need: stove, microwave, a nice big refrigerator, lots of cabinets and counter space and a dishwasher. On nice days, get those charcoals glowing in the grill out on the deck and have a barbecue.

With two bedrooms and a loft, Beachcliff will sleep seven comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed and an adjoining full bath. In the second bedroom, you'll find two twin beds. Those extra people can bed in the den where there's a queen futon and a twin bed. An extra full bathroom cuts down on waiting time. Beachcliff also has a washer and dryer.
