Sharon's Cabin on The Sound, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Bath, Waterfront in Sitka

Sharon's Cabin on The Sound is located on beautiful Sitka Sound,
directly across from Mt. Edgecumbe Volcanoe. Sitka, Alaska is well
known as one of Alaska's most beautiful cities, where you can see
whales, sea lions,otter and more. It is also Alaska's most popular
fishing destinations.

Salmon and Halibut fishing is the best to be found in Alaska (we have
packages with fishing included).

Hiking is very popular as we only 17 miles of drivable road and hundreds of miles of incredibly beautiful trails!

We also have a hot tub on the waterfront, which is great for relaxing
and watching for whales and such.

All bedrooms have TV, VCR and DVD. Each bedroom has it's own key which
also matches its bath. The kitchen is large enough to sit 12 and we
have an upper and lower deck that looks out onto the water. If you have a large family coming, this is  a great location! We love it when families come with grandma's and grandpa's, grandkids, and such. Perfect house for large groups!

Waterfront, kayaks can be launched right in front, right across from
Harbor Mountain, Sitka's most scenic drive is right across the road,
and Sitka's waterfront road is great for bike riding. Bikes can also
be rented.

We have many beautiful hiking trails that wind into old growth forest
along the coast, as well as up into the mountains.
Tongass National Park, also called Totem Park is minutes away, Pioneer
Park, Halibut Point Recreation Area, Stargavin Park and more all are
within 15 minutes drive.

Whalewatching can be done from the front deck, or you can go on boat
tours, which I can also help you with.

Summer rates rooms, $100-125 per room per night, plus tax

Summer rates whole house, $15,000 per month, no tax

Winter rates rooms, $75 per room, per night, 7th night free

Winter rates rooms, $650 per month, based on 90 days stay
