Lighthouse is a Gulf front luxury complex that has everything you need for your next beach vacation!  It is located just under a mile down East Beach in Gulf Shores.  Shopping and dining are a short walk  or step outside to enjoy the white sandy beaches at your back door.  Perfect for Hangout festivals or beach concerts...close to the fun but not in the middle of the congestion!

Lighthouse #911 is a very nicely decorated unit with gorgeous views from your Gulf front balcony.  This is a two bedroom unit plus bunk room that the kid's will love!  Balcony access is from the living room and master bedroom.  The master bath has a jetted tub and a separate shower.  There are three TV's, three DVD players and 3VCRs to entertain the kids.  The unit also features granite countertops and many other upgrades.

There is a king, queen, bunk beds and a sofa sleeper.  All of the mattresses are clean and comfy!  All of your linens are provided so just bring your swimsuit and towel!

Oh and don't forget your laptop...Internet access is available -- just bring your CAT5 cable to plug into wall outlet.

Not worth the money!

When I walked into this unit I was very disappointed and it totally ruined my trip. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking around barefoot in the condo. They had seaweed on the floor in the bathroom that was from the previous tenants and some black gook on the tub. The light fixture in the kitchen was broken and someone came in after we checked in to fix it. That should have been taken care of prior to check-in. I understand wear and tear but a little paint to cover up the marks on the wall is easy to do. I called a few times about the wifi not working - we had to wash all of the dishes by hand because the dishwasher did not work properly. The utensils and all kitchen items need to be replaced....very old and worn out....grosssss......Only 1 pot! What a pain! Needless to say, I will never rent this unit again. I have stayed in a gorgeous unit at Lighthouse last year and it was not available for the date we wanted. We should have switched dates and have been in comfort for half the price. When I called for the 3rd or 4th time, of course the girl had an attitude and I said oh the hell with it. Just Beware!

Owners response: We appreciate feedback both good and bad as it only improves our customer service. This Lighthouse unit is very nice and was very clean upon the guests arrival. The floors were cleaned and there was nothing on the bathroom floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and all items were inventoried during the spring to ensure that nothing was missing or needed to be replaced. If some of those items had gone missing, it was not reported to us by this or any other tenant.

Unfortunately, as with any vacation rental, there are maintenance items that sometimes occur. We did send maintenance out immediately to address the dishwasher and light fixture in the kitchen when it was requested by the tenant.

As you can see in the pictures of the unit, it is a very nice and we strive to provide all the comforts of home. If there is something needing to be addressed after a guest arrives, it is immediately taken care of.
