Our relaxing lakefront retreat awaits you in the beautiful and tranquil lake community of Volente. We are conveniently located on the main part of Lake Travis only 10 miles northwest of Austin.

We offer four private residences to choose from that are generously separated by lush landscaping for your own private getaway. Each home is unique to suit your individual vacation needs. Whether you are one family or four families traveling together, friends, or business associates, Driftwood can accommodate your vacation plans.

Driftwood offers the best of everything for your vacation, whether it be a big family reunion, large gathering, wedding group, corporate retreat, special romantic getaway, family vacation, fishing trip, retreat with your friends, or a warm place to spend the winter. Driftwood boasts breathtaking views of the main part of Lake Travis, and even has its own boat dock and boat launch. The gently sloping property entices you to enjoy a relaxing stroll down to the lake.

OAK GLEN COTTAGE: 2 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 1 Bath; (Sleeps 6-8)
This is an authentic vintage 1950's lakefront cottage with beautiful wood interior and stone floors, surrounded by trees. Features include a large screened-in porch with lake views to kick back and relax while you enjoy this quaint lakefront home.

PINE GROVE CHALET: 3 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 1.5 Baths; (Sleeps 8-10)
This charming two-level home offers incredible panoramic lake views from the upper level balcony. Inside you will find a well appointed home with a soaring wood beam cathedral ceiling in the living room. Each of the three bedrooms has its own designer touches. The home also features a wonderful south-facing covered balcony.

MAPLE HILL LODGE: 2 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 1.5 Baths; (Sleeps 6-8)
This cozy two-level home, surrounded by trees, offers a large outdoor shaded deck where you can relax outdoors or barbecue in the yard after a fun day on the lake. Enjoy the south-facing sun room for some peaceful tranquility.

STONE RIDGE COTTAGE: 2 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 1 Bath; (Sleeps 6-8)
This is a classic 1940's waterfront home with beautiful stone and wood interiors and a large stone patio. A great way to enjoy lake living. Some home features include a nice open kitchen, along with a screened-in porch that opens up to a shaded patio with great lake views.

Our property is on the main part of Lake Travis so there is plenty of water.
We also offer a boat dock and boat ramp on our gently sloping private property. Each home is fully furnished including a full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove, small appliances, plates, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, spices, soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Bed linens, pillows and towels are also provided.

Other amenities include air conditioning, cable TV, DVD/VCR player, wireless internet service, stereo/CD player, games, books, etc. We also provide a washer/dryer for guest use.

All homes offer an outdoor patio or deck with tables, chairs and picnic areas including a large charcoal barbecue grill. Amenities available for some homes include wood burning fireplace and optional garage rental. In consideration of others there is no smoking and no pets please.

Activities on the lake include water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, boating, sailing, parasailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sunbathing, relaxing, etc.

Around the lake you'll find parks, wildlife viewing, golf, tennis, wellness spa, hiking, biking, water park, sightseeing, etc.

Although we are located in the tranquil lake community of Volente, we are also centrally located on Lake Travis. We are not far from local boat rentals, restaurants, shopping malls, movie theatres, even downtown Austin, for all your activity needs. 

In summary, you can plan to do many activities while here or simply relax and enjoy your stay!
