The Lone Star Retreat @ Lake Travis in Lake Travis

This private, waterfront cabin (and bunkhouse), on a protected cove on the beautiful south shores of Lake Travis, is ideally located 35 minutes west of Austin, Texas. A gentle slope to the water and a dock on the clearest lake in Texas provide you with good fishing, swimming, and fun times. Enjoy wildlife while sitting on the decks, or go boating and enjoy white cliffs and 65 miles of Lake Travis! The main cabin and the bunkhouse give great separation and privacy for groups or couples to enjoy. (The main cabin and bunkhouse are one rental and only rented to one party at a time). Both are furnished and decorated Texas cowboy-style.

The two-bedroom/one-bath main cabin sleeps up to six people in two queen beds, one in each bedroom and a futon in the den. It features a covered porch with ceiling fans overlooking the yard & cove, cool saltillo flooring, and a fully stocked and equipped kitchen which includes a large limestone island bar & counters, two ovens, refrigerator and a built-in microwave. Also provided are a flat screen TV w/cable, a VCR/DVD player, and internet.

The one bedroom bunkhouse outback sleeps four to six people in a log style queen bed and two futons.  It boasts red cedar & alum walls, tin ceilings and stained concrete floors, a kitchenette area with sink & dishes and a large bathroom with an old fashioned clawfoot tub for your bathing pleasure. There is a large open deck to watch wildlife or just relax on. Also included are cable TV with VCR player and games.
