Charming Mountain Cabin with Gorgeous View in Highlands

This Nantahala Forest cabin boasts a breathtaking view of unadulterated nature (free of buildings, lights, or homes). Eleven acres behind the cottage have been donated to the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust which will protect the land from development so this view remains pristine. The highlight of every day at Pritchard's Perch is lounging on the large back deck with a delicious beverage while watching the colorful sunset.

Stairs lead up from the ground to the main level of Pritchard's Perch which has a bedroom with a double size bed, a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large open living space with cathedral ceilings, skylights and a wall of windows. The living space has a couch, a recliner, a few chairs and a dining table with four chairs. Also on the main level there is a large open deck as well as a screened in porch with a grill, an outdoor table for meals outside, and a washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there is a bright bedroom with two twin beds, a loveseat and a half bathroom.

This cabin is a 15 minute drive from Highlands, 20 minute drive from Franklin, and 25 minute drive from Cashiers. Many trails abound in this area. The closest trail is Yellow Mountain trail which is just a 5-7 minute drive away on Buck Creek Road.

Highlands and Cashiers have great coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping opportunities.

There is a great grocery store in Franklin where you can purchase supplies for delicious home-cooked meals while enjoying your stay in the mountains.
