Family vacation at Fabulous Townhouse in Wells!

The house is fabulous. Perfect for the 8 of us. All the comforts of home. The pools on the property were a great "wind down" from the days at the beach. The views of the tidal pools/Atlantic Ave were beautiful. We chose to drive to the beach but could have taken the trolley if we had less stuff to bring! Location is really close to everything...but tucked away too. Perfect. :) We would rent this property again. Thank you Frank!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Wonderful Week in Wells

Three generations of my family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful townhouse. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable. I would highly recommend for families as there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. TV's in every bedroom and common area is a plus for multiple generations. The 2 outdoor decks offer great views of the Rachel Carson Preserve and Atlantic Ocean in the distance. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of barware, cooking items and serving pieces for those who do their own cooking on vacation. The owners also provide use of their grill - a plus. The only negative was lack of wireless access. The Seagull Resort provides free wireless but the signal is not strong enough to reach this unit. It would be nice if the unit owner would allow use of their wireless signal to renters. This was only a small flaw in an otherwise amazing rental. The online pictures and description of this unit are a very accurate representation of the accomodations.

The Seagull Resort is very well manicured. Grounds are beautiful with plants and flowers everywhere. Both pools are exceptional and cleaned daily. Staying close to home was wonderful as was exploring the surrounding areas of York, Kennebunkport, Kittery and Ogunquit. This is a great location in Maine if you enjoy getting out and taking day trips within the Southern Coastal area of the state.

We hated to leave and look forward to visiting again.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
