The Little Brown House-Cozy and Quaint Manzanita Retreat in Manzanita

This beach home has everything you need to enjoy a getaway at the Oregon Coast, including one of the best locations in Manzanita. Walk less than a block to the beautiful sandy beach, and reaching downtown's shops and restaurants is just a five block stroll along the Pacific Ocean. The two bedroom house has plenty of old-school Oregon charm, but all the updated amenities you could ask for.

The upper level of the house is completely open, with comfy seating to lounge before the cozy wood stove. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and the compact space will help make clean-up easier since the home lacks a dishwasher. The dining nook has a table that seats four normally, although an extension and folding chairs make it perfectly comfortable for six if you have extra guests.

On sunny days, you'll definitely enjoy the ocean views from the deck. There is plenty of seating, a charcoal grill, and planters full of fresh herbs. The flat-screen TV has satellite cable, and the house offers high-speed wireless Internet for those who need to stay connected.

Both bedrooms are downstairs, along with the bathroom and laundry. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a twin bunk bed for the younger (or younger-at-heart) guests. Upstairs, the living room's futon unfolds for a full bed, making the house cozy enough for a couple but spacious enough for up to six guests.

Manzanita is a gorgeous small town filled with boutique shops, restaurants, galleries and a long stretch of sandy beach. For those that seek a little more adventure, Oswald State Park just north of Manzanita provides an excellent surfing beach as well as beautiful hiking trails and view points. You can take in the most beautiful view on the coast from the top of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north.
