Recently built custom home completed in August 2010.    Located on the barrier island in Boca Raton, this home is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach from front door to sand.  It’s also walking distance to the Boca Raton Hotel and Club and many downtown restaurants and shops. 

The Por La Mar neighborhood is lush, cozy and quaint and is home to some of the most expensive real estate in Boca Raton.  The breezes off the ocean give you that vacation feel, especially during the season.

The house itself is 4200 air conditioned sq. ft. of Mediterranean and Old World charm.  It's everything you'd expect and more from a luxury vacation rental.

The minute you step through the door, there is an open and inviting feeling with 12 ft. coffered ceilings throughout and an expansive view of the lushly landscaped and very private pool/patio area.    All furnishings are designer new.

The amenities inside are top of the line and plentiful:

There are travertine marble floors and hardwood flooring throughout first and second floor.  A custom cherry kitchen featuring double Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezers, Wolf gas range and oven, Viking convection oven, breakfast center with built-in Miele coffee maker and microwave oven.  Kitchen also has a built-in ice maker, dishwasher and wine cooler.

Off the front foyer, there is a beautiful mahogany library/office with double French doors and all necessary computer connections.   If you enjoy reading,   there are over 1200 books of all type available during your stay.  Wireless internet is throughout. 

The family room boasts a custom built entertainment center with a 60” HD flat screen.  Outside, marble decking surrounds the pool and spa area (spa seats 8-10) and both are heated for the winter months if needed.  There is a built-in outdoor cooking area (BBQ) for your use. 

Upstairs, there are two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen (picture of this bedroom is shown).  Each has its own marble bath, custom built walk-in closet, flat screen tv and private balcony.   The laundry room is also located upstairs with a washer/dryer and a drip-dry to hang wet towels and bathing suits. 

The 1200 ft. master suite is spectacular with a king bed,  a huge custom walk-in closet (12' x 20' pictured), breakfast bar with microwave and refrigerator and a marble bathroom that has too many features to list (jaccuzi tub, double sided shower, separate thermasol steam shower etc..)

The home technically sleeps 6 but is large enough to accommodate additional people with the use of aerobeds that owner can provide.   Fort those with infants and small children, there is a high chair and playpen along with lots of toys for the home or the beach.  Just bring your toothbrush as the rest is provided, beach towels included.
