Our lake provides the best fresh water fishing on Long Island, and is also perfect for kayaking or canoeing right outside the back door.

Sun bathing on very private upper deck overlooking LI Sound.  Main upper deck perfect for entertaining and cocktails as the sun sets in LI Sound!  Wonderful, uncrowded, white sand beach on LI Sound with a protected swim area and a life guard on duty daily.

Home is located directly on a 100 acre lake just 50 ft. from back porch.  Best fresh water fishing on LI, and also perfect for kayaking and canoeing (no motor boats).  The Kenney's Beach and McCabe's Beach (also on LI Sound and a 5 min. walk away) areas are the most popular walking areas in Southold Town.

Beautiful Sparkling Point winery is located at the other end of Kenney's Road and is famous for its LI Sparkling Wines and Champange.  They have daily activities and wine tasting all summer long.  40 other wineries located a few minutes from home, each with daily family activities.

Greenport Brewery located 7 miles away is a great place to sample local, niche beer.  They often also have art shows.  In addition, the seaside village of Greenport is a very popular summer destination, filled with waterfront restaurants and shops.  Greenport also is the home to about a dozen art galleries for browsing or buying!

LI Aquarium, located in Riverhead (about a 20 min. drive) is a jewel of a place for the whole family.

If celebrity watching is your idea of a good time, take a one hour drive (or better yet take the ferry!) to the Hamptons, home of the rich and famous.

You can also leave the car at home and take the ferry from Orient Pt. to the Mohegan Sun or Foxwood Casinos in CT.  All transportation provided by the Ferry Co. and the casino.

Tange Outlet mall is a short 20 minute drive away for the serious shopper!
