Le Chalet in Arnold

Basics
The cabin has four bedrooms, three upstairs and one downstairs, two
full baths and one half bath. A fifth bedroom is used as mud room
and
computer room. The cabin has a front deck and a partially covered
rear deck. There is a fireplace in the living room that is capable
of
heating the whole house. Firewood and kindling are provided.
The main heater is forced air.
The kitchen is large and fully equipped.
The cabin is handicapped accessible from the rear into the first
floor. Wheelchairs have to fit through the 30 inch wide bedroom
doors. Wheelchairs can not access the second level.
Location
The cabin is on an almost three acre wooded lot, in walking distance
to most amenities like grocery store, video store, restaurants,
micro
brewery, car wash, ski and outdoors equipment rental and of course a
PGA certified public golf course.
Police, fire station and medical facilities are also within walking
distance.
Despite all the amenities near by, the cabin has a lot of privacy
due
to the large size of the lot and the trees which shield the cabin
from view and noise.

Some important information about Skiing:
The Bear Valley Mountain ski area is about 23 miles east of Arnold,
at an elevation of 7000 feet and higher. That means snow is on the
ground all winter. The cabin is at 4000 feet elevation and usually
has snow each time there is a winter storm in the area. It is
therefore strongly recommended that you check the road conditions
before you head to the cabin, chains may be required.

Friday night or Saturday night US$200, additional nights are US$125 
(8 persons or less, including children). Sunday to Thursday US$125 
per night, two nights minimum.
Additional persons  6 years or older are US$10 each. The maximum
stay is 30 nights.
Special rates may be available upon request.
A US$200 security deposit is due at the time of the reservation.
Full payment is due prior to arrival.
A ten day advance cancellation notice is required to get a full
refund of the security deposit. If the cancellation is late, the
security deposit will only be refunded if the cabin can be rented
during your reservation period.
Check-in time is after 2 p.m., check-out time is before noon. Early
check-in between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. or late check-out between noon
and
4 p.m. may be booked for an additional charge of US$50, subject to
the availability of the cabin. Early check-in before 9 a.m. and
late check-out after 4 p.m. are charged as an additional night.
A 6% Calaveras County Transient Occupancy Tax is added to all rates.
