08/18 - 09/30 $200/nt  $1200/wk  (3 night minimum)

Prices subject to change without notice.  Higher rates may apply to special events/holidays

Season starting June 1 to August 17:
7 night minimum (Saturday to Saturday);
All other months have a 3 night minimum

A minimum of 50% down per reservation is required at time of booking. Final payment is due in full 45 days prior to arrival. Each reservation is also subject to a non-refundable $60 reservation fee, a non-refundable $39 damage protection and a cleaning fee of $75. This is taxable at the rate of 12%.

NICE BUT NEEDS SOME WORK

Rating Details:
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Stayed here for 2 months. Entering the place looked clean but in about an hour of walking around our socks were black from the tile floor.Dishes looked washed but had food stuck on them. The kitchen towels were very bad. The glass was apparently broke on the coffee table so instead of replacing it the owner chose to turn it upside down! The bathroom door handle came off. We fixed that ourselves and tightened up all of the kitchen cabinet doors. The washer & dryer are really old. Everything that came out of the washer had lint balls on matter how many times we cleaned it out. The bathroom showers are old and the jets on the whirlpool tub haven't worked for a long time from what we were told. There is a horrible howling sound that comes from the front door when the wind blows. The garbage shoot was the worst! 17 floors and the garbage falls right outside this room all hours of the night & day. This place isn't totally bad. It is nicely decorated but if the owner would just take some time to fix what is broken & replace what is old it could be so much more inviting. New towels, bedspreads, couch pillows, COFFEE TABLE! It certainly wouldn't take much to make it so much better. We had a good time & this place isn't horrible.. just wanted to let people know the truth and hopefully have the owner put a little time & effort into the place he wants people to rent from him.For a long time many reviews have had the same comments and nothing has seemed to changed. Hopefully some day soon these things will be taken care of.

Reviewer Comments:
We own beach oceanfront property in NC, which we rent; therefore, we are aware of the nuances of renting. We love 202 but have a couple of details which were overlooked: the kitchen linens need to be replaced! Also, there were quite a few burned-out lightbulbs, including over the stove. This should have been taken care of by housekeeping. Also, the wifi appeared to be in unit; however, we could not find even the network.
Just details, but they make a difference! We really appreciate how the staff interacts with us and their very good availability. We will rent 202 next Thanksgiving for sure.

The condo was in a nice development. Emerald Isle is very well kept. The condo was nice but not great. Bathrooms are small and not well stocked. Towels didn't match. The main complaint with this unit is the wind leaks. It was windy the week we rented and the howling noises were almost unbearable. The front door whistled very loudly, the fan in the seconfd bathroom sounded like a jack hammer. And the the sliding glass door had a terrible noise. The location of the condo and view was great, 2nd floor.
