Where's the Beach? in Harbert

This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has private Lake Michigan beach rights to a quiet association beach that allows  campfires,  a well-behaved pet with owner approval, and a glass of wine.  The beach is very quiet, not rocky, wide with plenty of room to spread the blankets. During the week you might have the place to yourself! The shallow slope with  sandbars is perfect for a familly vacation.Walking distance to the beach (estimating .4 of mile) requires about 15 minute if leisurely walking but the privacy is worth it. (Most kids can do the walk in 5!) It does have stairs and the stroller could only go about half way. Beach chairs and toys are provided for you and are left at the beach for less to carry back and forth.

This  home sits on 1/2 acre wooded lot with kid friendly  yard including fort/swing set with slide,  trampoline with netting, creek with small goldfish pond, flagstone patios and walkways with firepit for smores and firewood provided, outdoor furniture, hammock, picnic tables. The outdoor shower is private with hot water , perfect for rinsing sand off before entering the house (and a pleasant way to ease congestion in the house.) The screened porch and decking with gas and charcoal grills is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The back yard is fenced- in to encourage young ones to not wonder or for a well-behaved pet to stay close (dog door included).

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms . Bedroom one has a  king size bed with private balcony off back of the house. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with balcony off front and an extra twin bed in the cornerto sleep 3. The loft area has a large screen TV for movie watching.  Choose from the very large movie library with Blue-ray DVD and VHS player available. Has hookups for laptops if you want to stream a movie from your netflix or download.

On them main floor , bedroom 3 has kid- friendly space with loft bed and daybed/ with pop up trundle in  the kids room for 3 to sleep.  And the 4th bedroom, daybed with a pop up trundle(can be converted to king size bed) . 2-story sunroom is fabulous for the morning coffee, fireplace in living room is open to the remodeled kitchen with all the amenities, 2 ovens, gas stove, dishwasher, coffee pots, blender, toaster, crockpots, garbage disposal, and all the cooking pots and utensils you need for the week.  First bathroom has glassed shower, second bath has shower/tub.

Basement has extra room to play, laundry and weight room with elliptical machine , weight machines and benches, free weights , yoga mats and a stepper to keep those workout routines going.
