Steel Lane Chalet in Mount Hood

This cozy Government Camp home is right in the West end of the action off Government Camp Loop Road! The house offers easy access to the slopes and the restaurants and shops in town.

When you walk into the house, you are greeted with a warm and inviting living area with hardwood floors and a Gas wood stove. There is a cable TV with a DVD player for entertaining and a dining area with a table for 4. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics so preparing meals while you are away is a great option.

The home features three bedrooms and a loft space. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a balcony so it is perfect for a couple. The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and a second bunk bed with two twins. The third features a twin over twin bunk and a separate twin and the loft area has three twin beds. This set up provides a great place for a family reunion and everyone can have their own bed.

There is a large deck off the living room as well that has a BBQ grill that is great for the warm weather. This is a great house to visit year round and there is easy access to the shops in town and there is skiing nearby on the Mt Hood slopes year round. There are also great hiking and cross country skiing trails nearby at Trillium Lake and Mirror Lake for the naturalists among your group.

SkiBowl ski resort is in the heart of Govenment Camp and Mt. Hood Meadows is just 15 minutes up the road. Numerous hiking, biking, sno-shoeing trails abound as well!
