Villa Elena in Astor

The Villa Elena, a Family Vacation Home, is a unique waterfront
getaway. Built as a family retreat by John & Elena Amos founders of
the AFLAC insurance company. Our Villa was designed for relaxation
and recreation.

Villa Elena is located in Astor, Florida on the edge of the Ocala
National Forest. 30 miles to the beaches and major area attractions.
Do Disney in a day! Or enjoy the river. Astor is known as the "Jewel
of The St. Johns River"

Our goal is to provide you with a relaxing and quiet atmosphere
where you can feel like you're at home while on vacation. Three
guest houses are beautifully decorated to give you that tropical
feeling.

The Penthouse
*The beautifully decorated Penthouse, the pride and joy of our
riverfront resort, is tastefully decorated and offers an airy, yet
cozy atmosphere.
*With a large comfortable living room, with a beautiful fireplace,
to the cozy sitting area associated within the dining room, one
bedroom with 1½ baths, The Penthouse can accommodate from 2 to 4
people.
*You will feel like royalty while enjoying all the amenities that
are associated with our resort.

The Guesthouse
*The Guesthouse offers a comfortable and spacious living and dining
area, with a modern and bright kitchen.
*The Guesthouse has 3 bedroom and 3 private baths, and accommodates
up to 6 people.
*You can come as a couple and have privacy, or come as a group and
enjoy the grounds

*Along with the beautiful and comfortable accommodations we also
have these other amenities for you pleasure.
*A drive up dock along the canal for quick loading and unloading
from your day on the water.
*Two covered boat docks for protection from the weather while
getting ready for your daily outing.
*A recreation room with a beautiful handcrafted pool table, along
with a small kitchen, freezer and refrigerator.
*The recreation room also has Murphy beds, and sleeps up to 7
people, so you can bring family and friends along on your Florida
vacation
*Enjoy our pool and jacuzzi.

*Explore the St. Johns River, rent a pontoon boat or bring your own
and dock it here!
*Enjoy fishing, boating and visiting restaurants by boat.
*Lake George, Silver Glen Springs and Blue Creek (gators galore) are
all close by and make for an easy cruising and enjoyable day on the
water.
*See the manatees at Blue Springs Park, which has a swimming and
picnic area.
*Ormond Beach is about 40 minutes from Astor, Highway 40 takes you
right to the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful beaches.
*Daytona Beach has the NASCAR races, Bike Week & Biketoberfest.
*To the West about 30 miles is Silver Springs for additional water
enjoyment and take a ride in a glass bottomed boat.
*Disney, Seaworld, and Epcot are only a little over an hour away.
