If you like to eat out on vacation - feel free, and feel free to bring home your leftovers to warm them in this kitchen. Prefer to cook? You'll find everything you could possibly need to prepare burgers and dogs on the grills surrounding the pools, or a gourmet 5-course meal fit to compete in a TV reality show.
Got a little sunburned at the beach? Plan activities indoors with the family on the comfortable and spacious sectional, or catch a big game or popcorn and a movie on the flat panel television in the living room.
When its time for some zzzzzzzzzzzzz's - the master bedroom features a queen sized bed and sliding door access to the balcony, while the second bedroom is fit for a family or all the kiddos with a queen sized bed and full-sized futon. Space saving bunks are built into the hallway. The condo very confortably sleeps up to 8 guests.
Galveston is growing! The Historic Pleasure Pier is being brought back with a carnival atmosphere,
rides, games, etc. Look for this to be completed in late May. Also, directly to the west of the Maravilla on Seawall Boulevard, the Marriott Corporation is constructing new hotel options for future visitors. Construction hours are somewhere in the vicinity of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and there is heavy equipment and at times more noise than others. Please don’t let this stop
you from coming as we have reduced our rates to accommodate for the inconvenience, even though the heaviest noise time is during the day when most of our guests are out sightseeing, at the beach, etc. The front building and some west side units at the Maravilla are undergoing a facelift with new siding and railings being installed. The units that we manage in these areas
during this time. There may be noise to some of the other units while this progress is being made. Some of the Maravilla units, likewise, are undergoing facelifts to their interiors and you may from time to time hear noise associated with that, but work hours end by early evening. Experience Galveston now, while our rates are lower!

Walking distance to the fishing pier at 89th street, miniature golf, movie theater. Apprxoimately one mile to the west to sand beaches, or 3 miles to the east to the more populated beaches which offer lifebuard stands, souvenir shopping and some have bathhouses. The Maravilla Resort - while gulf front, is not situated on a sand beach.
We are close to Schilitterbahn and the Moody Gardens Pavillions, golf course, a multitude of restaurants, and minutes from the historic Strand district and cruise terminals.

My Galveston Getaway provides "No surprise pricing" Like everyone who rents property in Galvston, we are required to have the properties cleaned, pay hotel occupancy tax to the state of Texas and to Galveston, and parking permits are required at the Maravilla Resort. We include all of those charges when we quote you a rate - NO SURPRISES!

2 night minimum, 3 night minimum during holiday and special event periods. Some events are subject to a 20% Peak Charge (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Lone Star Rally, Mardi Gras, etc.). When our properties are open last-minute, we will sometimes reduce our prices, so please do contact us for a personalized price quote.
Our rates INCLUDE cleaning upon your departure, one parking permit for the duration of your stay, quality linens and bath towels for use during your stay (please bring your beach towels), and all required Texas and Galveston taxes.
A security deposit of $500.00 hold on a credit card or the purchase of a damage waiver in the amount of $45.00 will be required upon booking to protect the owners' investments in the properties that we have the privilege of managing.
