Once a farming and sheep-raising community, Chilmark is now the rustic, seaside retreat of affluent vacationers and U.S. Presidents -- and home to Islanders of long ancestry here. It is a unique and special community...New England seaside living amid a pastoral landscape largely unchanged for hundreds of years. 

This home is rented very sparingly...it mostly accommodates the owner and family, and, as such, is set up for their personal enjoyment, not for the mass market.

Past renters adore, rave about and return to this tranquil and pastoral slice of heaven year after year.
