Some tips on renting a vacation rental: Remember, you are not buying the home, just borrowing it for a few days or weeks. So don't pay for amenities you will never use. Example: Paying more because a house has towel warmers, and heated pool, and hot tub, may be wonderful in winter or cold climates. But here in Florida, you would probably never warm your towels, or want to step into hot water, when it's 90+ degrees outside. Saving on unnecessary amenities means more money for shopping, entertainment, and family needs.
