Vacation Rental Description
Located 12 easy miles NW of Asheville in Leicester, North Carolina,
this beautiful chalet offers a lot to both the vacationing family, or
to couples looking for a romantic getaway. Completed in November 2004,
this clean new home is nestled on one acre, on a hilltop cul-de-sac in
a quiet rural community. Wooded with pines and hardwoods, there are
great winter views of the nearby mountains. Wild turkey, deer and red
fox are occasional visitors to the property. Our guests frequently
comment how quiet and peaceful this location is, yet it's just an easy
20 minute drive to downtown Asheville. The home features wireless
internet access, three bedrooms, two baths, a four person outdoor hot
tub, 2-person whirlpool tub, pool table, gas BBQ, gas woodstove, large
deck, and an entertainment center. It is warmly furnished with
antiques and original artwork. A crib is available. Now offering our
returning guests 15% discount with a minimum two night stay.

The master suite is an oversize loft overlooking the living and
dining areas with views of the mountains (especially in winter)
through twenty foot windows. This room features an antique sleigh
bed (queen), a window seat for relaxing, reading or daydreaming, a
sitting area with two wingback chairs, a TV and VCR, a ceiling fan
and a bath with a large walk-in shower plus a two person whirlpool
tub.

The main floor has Brazilian hardwood floors in the living/dining
area and the two bedrooms. There is tile in the kitchen and bath.
An antique trestle table seats eight comfortably for dinner, with
three additional bar stools at the convenient kitchen bar. There
are ceiling fans in the living and dining areas and a gas log stove
in the living room with a remote control. One bedroom has a queen
iron bed with a rocking chair and is decorated with a North
Carolina mountain flair. The second bedroom is ideal for children
with two twin beds, a toy bear rug and a CD/AM-FM player. There is
a wrap-around deck at this level (covered at the front entrance)
with outdoor chairs, rockers, tables and a gas BBQ. The large
country kitchen is a full-service kitchen with a gas range,
microwave, dishwasher and all appliances. Gourmet meals await only
your ideas.

The lowest level is a carpeted entertainment area with an eight-foot
pool table, sleeper sofa (full), matching love seat, and TV/DVD/VCR
entertainment center. Board games, a reading library, and a diverse
selection of VCRs and DVDs are provided for your enjoyment.
Walking out from this level brings you to the covered patio with
chairs, tables, and the four-person hot tub facing the large open
lawn and woods.

Minutes from the Biltmore Estate, golf, gem mining, the Blue Ridge
Parkway, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking,
fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and all the art, music, shops and
fine dining of Asheville. The Cherokee Casino and the east entrance
of the Smoky Mountain National Park are 75 minutes away.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rent by the week, or two-night minimum. Rates, in US dollars, are
$180 per night for 1-2 people, $205 per night for 3-4 people, and
$230 per night for 5 or more. There is an additional $75 cleaning
fee plus taxes and a $250 refundable Damage Deposit. Weekly rates are
$1075 for 1-2 people, $1225 for 3-4 people and $1375 for 5 or more.
An additional charge of $75 is added for cleaning fee plus taxes and a
$250 refundable Damage Deposit. NC State tax rate is 6.75%. Now
offering returning guests a 15% discount with a minimum two night
stay. Check in time is 4:00 p.m., check out time is 11:00 a.m. No
smoking and no pets.
