Welcome to our "Knotty But Nice" cabin! 

It features the perfect blend of rustic and modern with all the amenities that you will need. Escape the city to one of the few true log cabins in the area. Our cabin is located in the beautiful Pinetop Country Club on a  heavily wooded 1/2 acre lot.  Walk out the back door and into the National Forest where there are miles of forest to explore while hiking, mountain biking, running, and ATV riding or enjoy the forest from the large covered wrap around deck and a brand new flagstone patio with outdoor seating.  In addition, there are two mountain bikes and horseshoes to use while you are at the cabin.  Very private and peaceful location with easy access year round and only minutes to shopping, dining, and Pinetop festivals.  One mile to golf and horseback riding, 5 minutes to Hon-Dah Casino, 30 minutes to Sunrise Ski area.

The 20' cathedral ceiling and tall windows in the great room provide plenty of natural light and the cozy wood burning stove will keep you warm on chilly mountain nights.  Our cabin is beautifully decorated with new wood flooring, new furnishings (including mattresses!) and new kitchen appliances.  There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor (1 king log bed, 1 queen log bed) along with a full bath.  The huge master suite (1 king log bed) in the loft has a reading area and en suite full bath.  For additional sleeping, the futon in the loft sleeps two and there is plenty of room for the kids to play in the loft too.

$175/nt or $950/wk Off Peak - (Apr 1 - Up to Memorial Day Weekend & Oct 1 - Up to Thanksgiving)

$200/nt or $1100/wk Peak - (Memorial Day Weekend - Sept 30th & Thanksgiving - March 31st)

2 night min. stay required - Check in - 3:00pm, Check out - 11:00am

Holiday rates: $225/nt with a 3 night min or $1250/wk (4 night min during X-mas/New Year - $1250 week).
Holidays are: Christmas through New Years, MLK weekend, Memorial, July 4th weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving

Non-refundable cleaning fee of $90, 8 people maximum allowed

$250 security deposit is required to hold booking and is refundable after cleaning.
Cancellation Policy - refund of deposit with 4 wks advance notice.
Rates are subject to change until booked with a deposit.

I just want to say what a wonderful three days we had in Pinetop at this gorgeous rental cabin. When we arrived everything was spic and span. It had everything we needed. All we had to bring was food and clothes. Plenty of room for everyone!The beds were comfortable and there was a big dining room table. We had the opportunity to play family games around the table. We also used the bikes provided and took some nice bike rides. I would definately want to rent this cabin again. Thanks Mary Jo!!

Great Getaway

I brought my two teenage daughters and each of them brought a friend. There was plenty of room for all of us. The master bedroom in the loft had a king sized very comfortable log bed. There was plenty of room in the loft for everyone to play cards on the floor. My daughter also used the loft to do yoga. There is also a futon in the loft that faces the downstairs. From the futon you can view the t.v. downstairs, read a book or look straight ahead at the beautiful view of the forest.

The downstairs was beautiful with its wood flooring and new leather furniture. There are also two more bedrooms with log beds. The owners had left games and movies for the down time in the evening. The kitchen had beautiful new appliances and everything we needed to cook our meals. There is also a grill outside that we used to grill chicken and sit on the outside furniture.

The cabin is located in a very safe neighborhood. My daughters and their friends took turns riding the two mountain bikes left for our use by the owners. Behind the cabin there are walking paths through the forest. We actually drove down the main street past the Game and Fish Department and took a path that was a 6 mile walking trailing through the forest and through a stream. It was absolutely beautiful.

We had a great getaway and escaped the Phoenix heat for 3 days. I would definately go again and I would recommend this cabin.

Awsome Getaway

From the moment we walked through the door we knew that this is what vacations are all about.Loved the hight cellings and all the natural light. It had a a very inviting open floor plan that flowed very well with lots of usable space, we never felt cramped.
The decor and furniture was upscale comfort and very attractive. The wood floors and wall make it very inviting. It has a fully appointed kitchen with all new appliances. It was easy to cook and entertain there. We also enjoyed using the gas grill.Everything was spotless.
The two main floor beedrooms are a good size with beautiful handcrafted beds. The mattresses were sooo comfey, no troubles sleeping here.The master bedroom and bath loft made for a spacious retreat.
We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck and enjoying a glass of wine and listing to the breezes in the pine trees.The setting is just lovely with a sense of privicy but not isolation. We also enjoyed sitting out at night and star gazing, the air is so clear.
It was also a bonus to have a washer/ dryer , and bikes to tour around in.
I am looking foward to booking this again soon and definitly would recomend it to my friends. The owner was very promopt and helpful in answering my questions. It was hard to go back to reality.
