Waterfront Wellfleet! 30 steps to our Sea Shells' cottages private,
sandy beach. Great 
swimming. Great place for kids! Mooring available. The Sea Shells' is
a cottage colony in a quiet, 
beautiful, beachfront location. The Main house is not a cottage, but a
full-sized free-standing 
home. 
Enjoy full water views from this south facing 2,000 square foot Cape 
Cod - Colonial style 2 level beach house (1st & 2nd floors, NO basement). 
Lots of windows, sliders, & decks. Full kitchen with full-sized 
appliances. Recently purchased beds and sofas.  This house is spacious
for one family,
comfortably accommodates 2 families, extended families, or groups of
friends with privacy. 2 full 
bathrooms. 
Great place for kids. Bayside Wellfleet is the BEST place for young
children. Explore the National 
Seashore, listen to the 
birds sing, walk to Great Island at low tide, collect shells, relax.
 Watch the moon reflect over the 
water. Two easy to use 2-person sit-on-top 
kayaks are included. Explore Great Island and the Cape Cod National 
Seashore by kayak, by foot, or swim there! At night - listen to the waves.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Layout and beds:  All the beds are recently purchased and good 
quality, NOT pioneer/cabin-in-the-woods quality.

1st Floor:     Very large family room with fireplace, TV, DVD, a 
game table, games, books, a cassette player, 2 futon sofas 
convertible to 2 full beds, a love seat convertible, refrigerator, 
sink, microwave & coffee maker, + a washer/dryer unit in an alcove. 
This room has a door for privacy, can be used as a 5th bedroom. 
Kids bedroom with 2 bunk beds 
(1 twin/twin and 1 twin/full). 
Private back bedroom with 2 twin beds that, 
with a foam insert, becomes like a king. Full bathroom off the hall. 
Game room with darts, various games, inflatable mattress for 
sleeping, can be a 6th bedroom.
Front porch. Rear deck has a 
ping pong table, chairs, table. 

2nd Floor:  Open layout. Full sized, fully equipped kitchen with a 
large sink island that seats 4 on counter chairs, stainless steel 
oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, slider to deck, 
gas grill. Open kitchen layout leads to dining area which seats 8 at 
a hardwood table. Bay window. Great water view. At night, watch the 
moonlight over the water. The dining area is open to the living room 
which has a love seat, sofa, easy chair, fireplace, 32" 
HD TV, DVD, free wireless high speed internet access, sliding doors 
to the deck. All the floors are hardwood cherry.
Plenty of room to eat on the deck, it is 40 feet long. 
There is a walk-thru bedroom with a full bed. 
A bedroom with a queen bed, with it's own 
full bathroom (shower stall - no bathtub). 
Full water views from the

Activities and Attractions

Wellfleet is the BEST place for kids! Things to do: Some of the best 
kayaking on Cape Cod, swimming in Wellfleet's pristine kettle ponds, 
Wellfleet's magnificent ocean beaches, clamming, Wellfleet's world 
famous oysters, the village of Wellfleet - groceries, ice cream, art 
galleries, restaurants, video store, farmer's market, deep water 
fishing, fish off the pier, there's a railroad bike trail in 
Wellfleet, (bike rentals in Wellfleet) Wellfleet drive-in, Wellfleet 
movie theatre, go to a show at  Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre 
(Best of Boston 2004 -Boston Magazine), see paintings of renowned 
artists in Wellfleet's thriving art galleries,  go to Provincetown, 
seaside golfing down the road from the Main house, miniature golf, 
grill on the Main House deck overlooking the water or dine at 
Adrians (brick oven pizza), go out for lobster or have Mac's deliver 
it cooked,  all the restaurants are child friendly. There's the 
Wellfleet flea market, National Seashore nature center, Marconi 
site, visit the Highland Light Lighthouse in Truro, Audubon Society 
Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary,  whale watches, beautiful sunsets 
nearby,  scenic drives, learn to surf, go birding, or don't go 
anywhere - just listen to the birds sing. From the Main House it's 
about 30 steps to the beach - swim, walk to Great Island at low 
tide, rent a boat at Jack's to explore the National Seashore, 
collect sea shells, relax, let the kids have fun exploring, 
collecting.  At night rent a movie, read a book,  (we have a decent 
collection), begin writing your book, listen to the waves, the sea 
air is wonderful, sleep will be restful.

Vacation Rental Rates

Spring & Fall weekends: $750 - $1,850.
   
Saturday to Saturday Summer weeks: 
                  
June & September: $1,850 - $3,850
July: $4,450       August: $4,950
