The landscaped lawns and large boulders, including a firepit, provide the perfect setting for a private getaway or a family gathering, wedding, or other special event. Each guestroom has a private bath, and queen bed. Some rooms have additional pull-out beds for children. The three separate accomodations have a furnished kitchen with a complimentary continental breakfast. The large master suite in the Mountain House has a jacuzzi tub, and many of the rooms have mountain vistas.

Outdoor activities abound in the Talkeetna area, including lakes and rivers for canoeing and rafting, as well as miles of hiking and biking trails. When you are ready to socialize the town of Talkeetna has five restaurants, a brewhouse, historic Fairview Inn, artist coop, performing arts theater, and a community center with weekly yoga classes. A zipline is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2012, and horseback riding is within fifteen miles of town.
vacation rental rates
Rooms can be rented by the day, week or month. Discounts applied to longer rentals. The entire Guesthouse, including Mountain House, Kahiltna Chalet, and Stone Hut, can be rented for events and weddings. The Chalet rents for 700 for the week; the Mt. House rents for 100 per night per room for stays of 5 or 6 nights (based on double occupancy per room); the entire Mt. House rents for 1,750 per week. Stone Hut rents for 100 per night per room for stay of 5 or 6 nights; weekly rental is 1250 for both rooms (double occupancy). Prices depend on the season. Lower rates offered in the winter season. 5% bedtax applies to all rentals.
