Moose Cabin at Carnelian Bay is a sweet 2-bedroom plus loft home (sleeps up to 8) with a big wood fireplace. Right on North Lake Boulevard, it's just a couple miles each way to Tahoe City and Kings Beach, and all North Tahoe has to offer!
You will feel right at home as you walk into the Great Room: living, kitchen, and dining areas open to each other. Enjoy satellite TV, DVD and VCR, music on the stereo, great dining table seating 6, and a very well-equipped kitchen. Also on the main floor are a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry room. You can sit on the large front deck furniture with your friends after a day of mountain biking, and barbecue on the gas grill.
Upstairs are another queen bedroom with full bath attached, and an open loft with a two-twin trundle bed.
Carnelian Bay is the prime location in North Lake Tahoe, centrally located between the quaint towns of Tahoe City and Kings Beach. Carnelian Bay offers the best public beach in North Tahoe, excellent dining choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, miniature golf, and a famous marina featuring classic Chris Craft wooden boats. The beach also has rentals of paddleboards and kayaks, as well as a cafe.
All North Tahoe has to offer is just a few miles away: Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are less than 12 miles away, Kings Beach is just 5 miles away, Crystal Bay's historic casinos and nightlife are just 6 miles away, Northstar is just 10 miles, and Truckee is 17 miles.
