Sea Hope Cottage-Oceanfront in Long Beach

Relax in the spacious comfort of this oceanfront vacation home located at Klipsan Beach on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula.  Decorated with charm and surrounded by nature, this home features a southern style wrap-around porch which is covered and partially enclosed by glass for year-round enjoyment.  A delightful spot to sit and watch deer graze in the yard with the Pacific Ocean surf in the background.  The sunsets can be spectacular and the beach is only about 100 yards down a private path through the protected dunes.  Famous for it's kite-friendly breezes, our beach is the best for leisurely strolls, bird watching, storm watching, hiking/running and for just breathing in that fresh, salt air  (there's nothing like it!).  Sea Hope is at the end of a 'Dead End' road, insuring maximum privacy and outdoor safety for children and pets.

1400 sq. ft. of comfortable living area on one floor with ocean views from the livingroom, kitchen/dining and master bedroom.  Additional sq. footage in the basement serves as an overflow area with a double bed, full bath, laundry facilities and a kite workshop/play area.

This immaculate and contemporary home has three bedrooms upstairs (2 with queen beds and one with two twin beds) and two full bathrooms as well as a comfy sleeping couch in the livingroom area.  We recently updated the entire upper level with new wood floors, carpets and tile.  You'll love our quality beds and linens, too.

The livingroom features a Lopi woodstove with a glass door.  The main living area also has large skylights for an abundance of natural light and some heavenly star-gazing.  Cable TV/DVD w/BluRay, CD/Radio w/ipod dock, movies, books, games and toys are all provided for your enjoyment, as well as WIFI.  You'll also find an outdoor eating area on the covered side-porch, a firepit in the yard, a charcoal grill (in season) and sandcastle-building supplies for everyone.

The lower level offers a double bed, a 3/4 bath and a wonderful kite workshop.  You'll also find TV/VCR/DVD and stereo as well as a game table and play area on this level.  We even have 2 bicycles and a red wagon.

Located 3 miles south of Ocean Park, Sea Hope Cottage is a short drive from groceries, post office, churches, a variety of shops and artists' studios, parks, museums, a wildlife refuge, historic lighthouses and communities, the pristine Willapa Bay, and the culinary delights of restaurants that range from down-home local to world class.  Just a 3-4 hour drive from Seattle or 2-3 hours from Portland.

Prices include cleaning fees!  Rates are for up to 8 people.  Add'l $10/person/night for over 8.  2 night minimum, except some holidays and festivals may be more.  Refundable cleaning/damage/pet deposit and rent plus tax required for reservation; cancellation must be two weeks prior to avoid fee.  Guests are asked to do light housekeeping if staying a week or longer.
