Family oriented, short walk to the beach, WALK to a number of shops/recreation including The Colonial Bakery, Bakin Bagels, Frozen Curl, Runner's Sea Food Restaurant, Ocean Hut Surf Shop, Mini Golf. Joe, the head lifeguard, is the BEST! He offers junior lifeguarding and other events for kids, and his entire staff is very friendly, and most of all VERY DEDICATED and always SAFETY FIRST!

Walk to the bay after dinner to see the sunset, then walk over to Summer Sweets, the ice cream store just one block south of the Colonial Bakery or Frozen Curl, a self serve frozen yogurt store, and head up north two blocks to Mini Golf. Seaside Heights is just a short drive south with its famous Boardwalk, water park and great restaurants, take the kids to Breakwater Beach water park and to the Boardwalk. Dining opportunities galore both north and south, whether at Teresa's South in BayHead, or Labrador Lounge in Normandy, or in Lavallette, Runners, Lenny's, Little Mia's Pizza, The Oven, and a number of restaurants in Seaside including Hemingways, Luna De Rosa, Klees, Spicies. If you like to bike, take a bike ride along the Bay in Lavallette or on the Boardwalk in Lavallette before 10:00 am and watch the beauty of the sun glistening on the ocean while enjoying the ocean front homes.
