Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains on a quiet cul-de-sac, Falcon Cabin provides the ultimate year-round retreat whether you are seeking R & R, gathering with friends and family or looking for some outdoor adventure. Numerous world-class golf courses are nearby for summer amusement, while the ski hounds will appreciate the location along the famed Powder Highway.
The warm and gracious home features a spacious living room with a stone fireplace, large open kitchen and dining area, family room with games area, wood paneled pub/entertainment room, as well as plenty of space to sleep up to 14 people. The living space continues to the outdoors where you can soak up the sun on the west deck and patio, toss a ball in the yard or gather everyone to roast marshmallows at the fire pit.

Location:
Falcon Cabin is located in the quiet community of Mountainside in Fairmont and is well situated to take advantage of several neighbouring amenities. For a morning coffee or evening meal, a 5 to 10 minute walk will take you to the Smoking Water Café, Tony’s Greek Grill, From Scratch Bistro, Bishops Coffee Shop and Book Store, Fairmont Pizza and Ice Cream Parlour, Farside Pub, or the Fairmont Mountainside Market. The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort with it’s hot pools, spa, bar, restaurant and resort facilities are only a 15 minute walk away. The town of Invermere (20 minutes drive) features a wide range of shopping, entertainment and dining options.
Winter Activities:
Located on the ‘Powder Highway’ Fairmont is well placed to take advantage of the world-class ski resorts including: Panorama Mountain Village Resort (40 minutes), Kimberly Ski Resort (1 hour), Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (1 hour, 15 minutes) and Fernie Alpine Resort (1 hour 30 minutes), and Fairmont Hot Springs Ski hill only 10 minutes up the mountain is a small family friendly hill to suit every skill level (daily ski pass includes entry to the hot pools). Other nearby activities: nordic skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, ice fishing, ice boating, snowshoeing, heli-skiing and snowmobiling.
Summer, spring and Fall Activities:
Situated along the Columbia River between Columbia Lake and Windermere Lake, Fairmont has access to many beach, fishing and boating opportunities. The picturesque natural surroundings offer endless activity choices to explore from hiking to biking and everything in between!
Fairmont has 3 superb golf courses (Mountainside, Riverside and Creekside) and is part of the Columbia Valley Golf Trail, which features nine golf courses between Radium and Fairmont.
Note: Falcon Cabin guests have access privileges for the Riverside outdoor waterpark complete with a spray park and 3-storey waterslide. Family Day Pass $40, Weekly Family Week Pass $100

Minimum stay is 2 nights. Long weekend stays are minimum 3 nights. Bookings less than 3 nights will incur a surcharge of $50 . Rates are based on 10 occupants.
