A private drive chiseled through pines leads to an architectural three-level house surrounded with sliding glass doors. Enclosed cedar decks allow for private sunbathing and entertaining. Large master suite has sunken jacuzzi and sky-lit bed. Cozy/romantic all seasons with wood-stove in master bedroom and fireplace in dining area. 
The house has free local and long distance on the land line as well as wi fi high speed internet and Comcast cable television.
The house is located on just under an acre of lush scrub pine woods. When you're inside the house and look out you feel as if you're sitting inside this incredible natural world.
From the dining deck, the view is nothing but green. You can't see the beach or the sunset but you don't have the sounds of endless people walking up and down your path.
Instead you feel as if you've landed in your own private retreat.
The sprawling bay beach is just under a half mile from the house but it's an easy walk which usually takes about ten minutes. There is a bike rack so if you prefer biking you'll get there in about five minutes. (Car two minutes)
One of the best features of the house allows you to never step foot in your car if you chose not to as the house is walking distance to a farm, fish market, and liquor store, and in the other direction a cafe with great capuccino and pizza. Next to the fish market, there's a shop which will provide wonderful wrap sandwiches for your beach picnic. 
The architect who designed the house, while inspired by asian temples and treehouses, gave great thought to the concept of privacy for vacationers. For this reason, the bedrooms on the first floor (each with a double bed) are separated from the master bedroom suite (with a quenz sized bed) by an open living/dining/kitchen area on the second floor.
All of the surrounding decks are enclosed no need to worry about taking your top off.
The bathrooms and kitchens all have interesting hand made tiles from Mexico and France, the living area and kitchen sports bookcases for tenants to enjoy.
Superb sunrise views from living room, and master bedroom. 

Just a short drive from the house, three private ponds where the water is wonderfully warm. 

Miles of beachfront bike trails a five minute drive from the house. Or if golf is your thing,

the Highland golf course in Truro has one of the most spectacular holes overlooking the surf. And if golf gets rained out, take a tour of the Highland lighthouse and museum (one of the oldest lighthouses in the country)

For wine testing, around the corner, visit the Truro vineyards.
