House..Colorado Mountain Views & backs onto National Forest. in Bailey

Our house / cabin backs right onto the Pike National Forest...just footsteps away from the front door.  Beautiful views of the high peaks, including Mt. Rosalie, from the deck, kitchen and upstairs sitting room.  Within a short drive to the Mt. Evans wilderness area with many beautiful trails, fishing, snow shoeing and more.  Within minutes of fabulous Rocky Mountain biking, more fishing and hiking, hunting and enjoying the Colorado outdoors.

Our location is just 45 minutes southwest of Denver. The mountain towns of Bailey and Conifer are a short drive away and have great amenities including restaurants, supermarkets and services.

The house has three bedrooms, one master up, and two bedrooms down.  The master has it's own bathroom, with shower.  The bathroom on the main floor has a bathtub and shower.

There is one full bed in the master.  One downstairs room has a bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top, and the other room downstairs has a trundle bed for two.  There is also a pullout sofa sleeper in the living room.

There is a wood burning stove on the main floor.  A deck fronts the house with views of the high mountains. There is a DVD player hooked up to a TV.

Fully equiped kitchen, cooking utensils, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and charcoal grill for the deck.

No smoking and pets on approval.

Hiking: footsteps away from the Pike National Forest.  Just minutes to the Mt. Evans Wildnerness Area.  Fabulous hiking and drives up Guanella Pass to the historic town of Georgetown.  Bag multipe 14ers (14,000' mountain tops) in a day or just take a leisurely hike right outside the house. The snow shoeing and cross country skiing in the winter is unsurpassed. 

Fishing & Hunting: world class trout fishing in South Park.  You can fish multiple spots on the Platt River, the Dream Stream, state wildlife areas or private waters available to the public.  House surrounded by Pike National Forest.

Biking: best front range biking at Buffalo Creek Mountain Bike Area, Pine, Colorado.  Dozens of trails will keep you busy all day.

Skiing and Snow Shoeing in the winter: footsteps away from beautiful mountain trails to trek through the snow.  Or if you want downhill skiing, you don't have to fight the I70 traffic to get to the Breckenridge Ski Area or any of the other Summit County ski areas and enjoy world class skiing.

Kicking back: great evenings spent on the deck watching the sun set behind Rosalie Peak, coffee or tea in the early morning on the deck feeling the sunshine warming you up or just sitting back in the sunshine on a quiet mountain day and listening to the Aspen rustle.

A 2 night minimum stay.  Please see the Calender for available dates before sending an inquiry. A maximum of 8 people at any time.

Nightly: $90 for a 1 guest, $120 for 2 or more guests. 

Weekly: $540 for 1 guest, $720 for 2 or more guests.  (the seventh night is free)

Monthly: $1890 for 1 guest, $2520 for 2 or more guests.  (the last week is free)

At time of booking, 50% deposit required.  Balance due 30 days prior to arrival time.  A $200 security deposit is due with final payment and fully refundable after inspection of property.  Owner reserves the right to require additional security deposit if more than two guests.

Cancellations: prior to 30 days of occupancy are fully refundable.  Cancellations within 30 days, 50% refundable.  No refunds 48 hours prior to occupancy.
