This circa1880 Victorian home is in Point Chautauqua on Chautauqua Lake, a beautiful lakeside resort community of quaint homes on winding lanes and towering trees. The 4-bedroom/2-bath house is not lakefront but just about 100 yards from the lake along a paved community path. The vacation home has been professionally decorated to make it a warm, relaxing spot. Sit and relax on the charming front porch or enjoy the privacy of the side porch and patio. Enjoy the extensive perennial gardens from the hammock or garden bench. Totally renovated with modern kitchen and baths. First floor bedroom and full bath; twin beds, bunk beds and a double bed in three upstairs bedrooms plus 2nd full bath; patio with gas grill, patio fireplace, table and chairs; large fenced yard; mooring and non-motorized dingy available. Watch the sunset over the lake from a bench on the Point. Point Chautuauqua achieved national historic status due to the 1875 design and of its quiet streets and community areas by Frederick Law Olmstead, an eminent 19th century landscape designer. It was his idea of the perfect terrain, hillside beside water. Many of the homes reflect the Victorian era.

Please note: Maximum occupancy is 8 guests including infants and children. We rent Frday-Friday full 7-day weeks only from June 28-August 30. 3-day weekend and week day availability prior to and post those dates.

• Patio with outdoor dining area and patio fireplace, beautiful perennial gardens, front and side covered porches, gas grill, large fenced yard, lawn games. 
• Great room with dining area, first floor bedroom and full bath, 3 bedrooms and full bath on 2nd floor, all rooms have fans, well-insulated – stays comfortable, hardwood or tile floors throughout, • Highchair, pack'n'play
• Blender, iron & board, coffee maker.
• Linens provided for additional fee. Otherwise you need to provide your own sheets and towels.

Chautauqua Lake is a beautiful 20 mile long lake. Great for boating, fishing, and swimming. Rental boats and kayaks are available on the lake. The 9-hole Chautauqua Point Golf Course is located at the entrance to Point Chautauqua with many other 18-hole courses around the lake. Bemus Point is fun for its unique shops, restaurantsand outdoor concerts. The historic Chautauqua Institution is an 8-mile, 15 minute drive across the lake. Take advantage of the cultural opportunities and classes that are available. Midway Amusement Park is a historic and charming "trolley park" with a vintage carousel.

May 31-June 24 $225 night (3 night minimum)
June 24-Sept 6 $1400 per week (Friday-Friday full week only) 
Sept 6-October 28  $185 night  (3 night minimum)

Holiday rates for Memorial Day (May 24-28), Labor Day (Aug 30-Sept 3), Columbus day (Oct 11-14) weekends 
$225 night (4 day minimum!)

Plus Chautauqua County Occupancy Tax of 5% ($70 on weekly rate)

Sheets & towels (if needed) $70. 

50% to hold, balance due 30 days prior
