This lovely Villa Giglio is ideally located for exploring Tuscany. It is just 10 minute drive from the location to the wonderful medieval hilltop city of Volterra, a historic Etruscan city which can be viewed from the the apartment. There is such of lot of immense historical interest to view in this city. The immediate countryside around the apartment is absolutely stunning at all times of the year. Short drives will take you to the renowned cities of San Gimignano and Siena. Of course one cannot miss out on the Leaning Tower at Pisa - just an hour away. The nearest beaches of Cecina and Bibbona are about 30 minute drive, but there are further beautiful beaches and seaside village within comfortable day trips away. San Miniato has a good golf course and is about 30 minute drive away should you feel like an 18 hole walk. Highly recommended for a holiday during any time of the year.
