Newly renovated waterview cottage in family neighborhood - 3 Bedroom, 2 bath, sleeps 8.  Approximately 1200 square foot home.

Private neighborhood beach one block from the Cottage.  Major ocean beaches (Narragansett Town, Scarborough, Roger Wheeler/Sand Hill Cove and Salty Brine) are all about 4 miles away.  Block Island ferry and charter fishing boats also 5 miles away.

The open kitchen was just renovated and is fully applianced, as well as filled with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils etc., everything to make your vacation cooking easier.  The living room adjoins the kitchen and has a bay window with a partial waterview.  There is a screen porch off the kitchen for enjoying the evening breeze, or shade of the large maple trees on a hot summer day.  The dining room overlooks the over-large backyard and opens through the large glass slider door onto a deck.  

The white bedroom has a daybed that opens into a king or two singles.  The blue bedroom has a queen-bed with a brand new mattress.  The green bedroom also has a queen-bed with a brand new mattress.  The bathroom on the main floor has a full tub-shower.  

Downstairs, the recreation room was just totally renovated ceiling to floor.  This room has a futon couch that can sleep two, and an entertainment center with flat screen TV and DVD player.  There is both a bathroom with stall shower and laundry facilities adjoining the rec room.  Walkout to the patio area and the very large backyard from here.

The house has central air conditioning, and oil forced hot air heat.  Plenty of off-street parking.  

Shell Cottage is available as a summer vacation, weekly and weekend get aways, as well as student rentals for the URI and other school academic year.

Summer Season:  May 24, to September 3, 2013 - $250 per night, $1500 per week (7-nights).  A minimum of three (3) nights are required during the summer season.

Rest of the Year:  September 4, 2012 to May 23, 2013 & September 4, 2013 to December 31, 2013 - $200 per night, $1200 per week (7-nights).
