Fishing areas in Wyoming include the Platte River near Cody, the Snake River near Jackson Hole and the Green and the New Fork Rivers near Pinedale which have the most fishable water than any place in Wyoming.
Wyoming hunting offers the outdoor enthusiast a unique adventure in its vast open space and abundant wildlife. Wyoming has the largest antelope population of any state as well as the world’s largest protected single elk herd. The National Elk Refuge can be found just outside of Jackson Hole. Visitors can also find moose, rocky mountain bighorn sheep, wild turkeys, bobcats and buffalo.

Jackson Hole Wyoming, the gateway to the Grand Teton National Park offers the visitor non stop activities in both summer and winter. During summer the visitor can enjoy the outdoors by hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing or enjoying the many varieties of wildflowers. Jackson Hole has kept its wild west roots, as you make your way through town you’ll find saloons, a stagecoach and wooden sidewalks. On the other hand the town of Jackson Hole boasts more than 20 art galleries, world class restaurants, shopping and spas. During the winter months outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the slopes at Teton Village where skiing, snowmobiling and snowboarding are abundant. Cheyenne, not only the largest city in Wyoming, but also the capital offers the visitor many historical sights from the Capitol Building to the Historical Governors House. But Cheyenne’s biggest event is the Frontier Days. Tourists from all over the world come to Cheyenne to see the rodeo known as “The Daddy of Em’ All”. It is the largest and oldest outdoor rodeo in the world. Cody Wyoming, founded by its namesake William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody has long been a symbol of the old American West. If one wants a bison steak, the Irma restaurant has been serving them for over one hundred years. During the summer months a daily shoot out is re-enacted and just down the road a nightly rodeo entertains visitors. Year round visitors flock to the world known Buffalo Bill Historical Center which houses five museums.
