York Harbor vacation rentals
Located at the very southeastern tip of Maine, York Harbor is well known for, among other things, its architectural history. Architecturally significant homes and buildings dot the area and are built in many styles, including the Second Empire Style, Shingle Style, Mission Revival Style and Colonial Revival Style. York Harbor was a famous summer colony during the Gilded Age, which adds to its historical allure. The Cliff Walk, an ancient shoreline path lined with beach roses, leads toward Eastern Point along ledges above the surf, offering an opportunity for lovely ocean views. The nearby Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region contains 10,000 acres of land and is one of the largest remaining expanses of undeveloped forests in coastal New England. There you can see vernal pools, enjoy the many trail systems, and view many of Maine’s rare plants and animals. Obviously, as it is a harbor, York Harbor offers a variety of water sports, including motor boating, sailing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. York Harbor Deals can be had by opting to stay in one of the many affordable York Harbor Vacation Rentals. York Harbor Last Minute Deals are also available and will increase your York Harbor Savings even further.
