short walk to the ocean and surrounded by Acadia National Park.
Bedroom with queen bed, fresh high-quality linens; bathroom with
shower; open light-filled living room and fully equipped kitchen.
Original artwork and flowers from our many gardens bring color and
contentment to this sweet living space. Outside, a deck with
Adirondack chairs faces our two acres of lawn and gardens, with
Sargent Mountain as a backdrop. Storage shed for your bikes,
charcoal and gas grills.Shares with our home and second cottage a
quiet, convenient location for exploring all of Acadia.

the ocean's edge, Somesville's beautiful white arched bridge (300
yds from the cottage).
In all directions, drive or bike into and out of Acadia. Swimming
just 1/2mile up the street at beautiful Somes Pond, or just around
the bend, 1 mile, at the beaches of Long Pond and Echo Lake. Kayak
and canoe rentals nearby.
Great restaurants and shops galore in nearby Southwest Harbor, Bar
Harbor, and Northeast Harbor.
Island Explorer, the free shuttle bus, stops right near us.
