Welcome and thank you for considering our property! Barton Bungalow is a charming two-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental home in the heart of Austin, which can accommodate up to 6 adults. Whether you're coming to experience the "Third Coast's" world-class music and art scene, participate in Austin's abundant outdoor activities, or simply explore the great restaurants, shopping, and funky vibe that make Austin a top-rated travel destination and place to live, Barton Bungalow is your perfectly-Austin "home away from home." Located just south of Lady Bird/Town Lake in hip Barton Heights, Barton Bungalow is within easy walking distance of some of Austin's best attractions: Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park (site of the Austin City Limits Music Festival and the Trail of Lights), the Long Performing Arts and Palmer Event Centers, the hike-and-bike trail and Lady Bird/Town Lake, Restaurant Row, and Austin's newest shopping district, SoLa (South Lamar). You're also just minutes by car, bike, bus, or cab from the center of downtown and the 6th Street, Warehouse (4th Street) and 2nd Street entertainment districts, the Texas State Capitol, and the University of Texas.

The house is an updated and expanded bungalow that combines the best of old and new and is decorated with eclectic and thoughtful touches to make you feel immediately at home. All of the standard amenities (see list below) are found in the inviting indoor spaces; the professionally landscaped yard that extends from the rear screened porch provides a welcome retreat after your busy days exploring the city. Easy access to all Austin offers and comfortable privacy - the best of both worlds.

Base rates based on 4-guest occupancy. Please note that there is a 3-night minimum stay on weekends and a 2-night minimum stay for week nights.

2 nights: $200/nt 

3-6 nights:  $175/nt

1 week:  $1,100

1 month:  $2,500- $3,200

Cleaning: $75     Security Deposit: $350

ACL 2013 (Oct. 3-7 & 10-14):  $1,800.00 plus tax per weekend.  (4 guests; up to 4 nights)

F1 2013 (Nov. 13-18):  $2,500.00, plus tax. (4 guests; any length stay up to 5 nights)  

With the exception of special events (ACL, SXSW), we take short-term reservations only 3 months in advance.
