Volcan View House in Julian

Volcan View House is located in a quiet neighborhood less than two miles from Julian's historic downtown. This getaway has breathtaking views of Volcan Mountain and the surrounding area from almost every room. The house is light, clean, and comfortable. You won't feel like you are "roughing it" here! There is a large wrap-around deck which is perfect for alfresco dining or enjoying a good book. NON-SMOKING guests only, please!

With two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house is perfect for a family holiday or a quiet getaway for two. Each bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. The master bedroom has a large bathroom with two sinks, separate tub and shower and a walk-in closet. There is central heating and air conditioning.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need to create a romantic dinner for two or to cook for a large family. Naturally, bed linens and towels are provided, as well as basics such as shampoo, soap, and paper goods. All you need to bring is your toothbrush and the food you'd like to cook!

There is a TV equipped with VCR and DVD players. Bring your own DVDs or choose from our small video library. Or, enjoy board games and jigsaw puzzles from our "toy closet".

Julian's many attractions include shopping, horseback riding, fishing at Lake Cuyamaca, snow play (occasionally!), tours of wineries and gold mines, a wolf preserve and of course, APPLE PIE!

The Julian area is a hiker's paradise with access to trails for all levels of hikers at William Heise County Park, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve, and the Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve.

Payment: We accept checks, Paypal, and all major credit cards (via Paypal).  Payment in full is required to book your reservation.

Cancellation: A full refund, less a 5% handling fee, will be refunded if the reservation is canceled more than one week in advance.

Cleaning/Security Deposit: There is a refundable cleaning/decurity deposit of $150. We have a service come in to change linens. You are otherwise expected to leave the house clean and in good order to get a full refund of your deposit.
